Sleep among the trees in TreeTopper, our highest-elevated SkyTent. Relax in the hammock underneath, climb the ladder to the sleeping area, and enjoy a secluded campsite with a private fire pit, picnic table, and two chairs. Shared outhouse and solar shower available. Bring bedding and drinking water.
The space
Camp SkyTent features four secluded campsites tucked throughout our beautiful five-acre private property. Park near the entrance, then follow the signs and wooded trails to TreeTopper—our highest-elevated SkyTent.
Our land is a Certified Wildlife Habitat, offering a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. You may spot deer, wild turkeys, and other local wildlife during your stay.
TreeTopper includes a hammock beneath the elevated sleeping area, plus a private fire pit, two chairs, and a picnic table.
Guests share a regularly serviced outhouse and a solar shower. Municipal water is available from an outdoor hose for general use, but the hose is not rated for drinking. Please bring your own drinking water.
Campers must also bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, and blankets. There are no electrical outlets or climate-control systems at the campsite.
Guest access
Guests have access to a shared parking area, wooded trails, a shared gear cart, a regularly serviced outhouse, a solar shower, and an outdoor hose for general use.
The hose is not rated for drinking, so please bring your own drinking water. Return the cart to the parking area after unloading so other guests can use it.
Your TreeTopper campsite is reserved exclusively for you and includes the elevated SkyTent, hammock, private fire pit, two chairs, and picnic table.
Other things to note
TreeTopper is our highest-elevated SkyTent and requires climbing a ladder. Guests should be comfortable with heights and able to climb safely. The site is reached by walking along an uneven wooded trail and is not wheelchair accessible.
Please bring sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, flashlights or headlamps, and drinking water. The shared outdoor hose is available for general use but is not rated for drinking.
Guests also share a regularly serviced outhouse and a solar shower. Because the shower is heated by sunlight, its water temperature varies with the weather and time of day. There are no electrical outlets or climate-control systems at the campsite.
This is a rustic outdoor experience. Expect insects, wildlife, uneven terrain, changing weather, and the natural sounds of the forest. Firewood is not sold on-site and should be purchased locally.

Neighborhood highlights
Camp SkyTent is located 10 minutes north of Ithaca - a jewel of the Finger Lakes and home of Ithaca College and Cornell University. Ten minutes north you’ll find yourself in pristine nature with many wineries and state parks. The small bustling town of Trumansburg is an 8 minute drive away. It has a cute main street with coffee shops, breweries and great restaurants. We are short 13 minute drive away from downtown Ithaca and there are plenty of gorges, waterfalls, and hiking areas nearby - the closest being Taughannock Falls State Park at 3 miles away. The black diamond trail, great for walking, running, and bicycling is also only 3 miles away. A ShurSave grocery store is about 2 miles away.

We both traveled extensively, lived in Spain, New Zealand and Romania. We’re both yoga instructors and healthy folk who love good food!
