This 3 -level home has an open floor plan with amazing mountain views. Completely updated with an open kitchen, huge deck, updated bathrooms, game room, pool table and hot tub.

The space
The main level has a kitchen, dining room, half bath, living areas and a large deck. The kitchen has a gas range, concrete counter tops, coffee bar (with drip and Keurig machines), seating for 4 at the island, and lots and lots of storage. The adjoining dining area has seating for 8. The main level also has 2 queen sofa beds, along with a seating area, dining table and gas grill on the deck

The upper level has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The Master suite has a king bed and double sliding doors to a private balcony with views of Chimney Rock. It also has an updated private bath with a large custom shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have queen beds and share a full bath (with standard tub) in the hall. Bedroom #2 also has folding bunk beds. All three bedrooms have smart tv's.

The lower level has a large game room with pool table, private home theater (which doubles as a private fourth bedroom), updated full bath with corner shower, laundry area, and covered patio with 4 person hot tub and ping pong table. There is a queen size sleeper sofa on this level and a queen size Murphy cabinet bed in the theater.

The front of the house faces the parking area and gets morning sun. The back faces west with views of Chimney Rock, Round Top Mountain, and Bald Mountain. We are NOT DIRECTLY ON THE LAKE and have limited views of the water depending on the season.

Other amenities include a tankless water heater (unlimited hot water), front load stackable washer/dryer and a Sonos whole-house sound system. Using the Sonos app you can listen to your music thru the system, even out on the decks.

Guest access
Treetop at Lake Lure is located just off Memorial Hwy (US 64) to the south of the lake. The house sits on an elevated lot but is easily accessible by paved road. The main parking area is in the front yard and can accommodate 2-3 cars. There is a lower driveway that accesses the basement level which can fit 2 cars. Both parking areas are gravel.

The front entrance has a small deck with 4 steps up to the door. Sleeping areas and bath/showers in the house require climbing stairs.

Other things to note
DISCLOSURE: There are security cameras at the front door and sides of the house. The interior and rear entertaining areas are 100% private.

While we are animal lovers, some people are not. And some have severe allergies. For this reason we have a strict NO PETS policy. There will be a $250 fee per night for any violations.

Sherwood Forest is a small subdivision located on the southern shore of Lake Lure. The outer loop sits low and features homes with diverse architectural styles, some with private lake access. The upper section, where we're located, is a quiet cul-de-sac shared by just a few homes. Sorry, our home does NOT have lake access.
