This unique home is literally surrounded by the National Forest, yet only 12 minutes from Downtown Asheville. Come experience the peaceful privacy of the forest and the mountains. The Bent Creek Experimental Forest offers some of the area's best hiking and biking trails from the front door of this amazing property. The space
This house is a classic ranch layout with 3 bedrooms on the main floor with the kitchen, dining and living areas. There is a basement with a large bunk room.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home except for one half of the garage. there is a garage that you can use for bike storage during your stay.

Other things to note
We offer dish TV with a full range of channels. PLEASE NOTE: some cell phone providers do not have great service here. They all work about 2 minutes down the road, but at the home, service may be spotty. ALSO NOTE: We do have internet here, but we are limited to Satellite service. As such, bandwidth and high speed data may be limited at certain times during your stay. Streaming of movies and tv may be limited.

Neighborhood highlights

This house is set inside the National Forest and is at the end of the public gravel rd. There is a gate beyond this property so the only traffic going past this house is hikers and bikers. There are two other vacation homes in the woods across the street. Bent Creek Experimental Forest, where the home is located, is the area's premier mountain biking location. From the front door of this home you can ride right out into some of WNC's best single track and gravel roads. We are also only 20 minutes from the legendary trails of North Mills River and Pisgah.
The Blue ridge Parkway is also just 5 minute down the road.
