Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Asheville

Looking around Maggie Valley from this house, I don't think there was a better view to be had. This house is well-stocked and comfortable in every way we would have hoped for and Billy and the co-hosts gave us all the info we needed, but the star of the show is the view over the valley to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the stunning sunset. We definitely need to come back and see it in the fall. During our stay, we visited downtown Waynesville (great shops and restaurants ... Frog Level Brewery and The Red Fox were favorites), drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped at many overlooks (Waterrock Knob is a relatively short drive from the house), and we ventured over to the Cherokee and Bryson City to ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. The highlight was seeing more than a dozen elk at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center in the morning before the visitor center opened, but we even saw some in a field in Maggie Valley. But mostly we loved sitting on the deck and relaxing in this home!

Excellent location! Home was just as described and like photos. Easily walkable to the downtown restaurants, shopping and activities in Waynesville.

Some people host to make money. It’s clear Melissa hosts to help families make memories. We booked last minute due to a horrible experience with another property. Melissa was more than willing to help us out with everything from an early check in to local recommendations for food that met the requirements of a strict medical diet. Her place was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need including items for our pup. The house was very comfortable and extremely clean. She responded quickly to every question. The check out process was an absolute dream. No stripping beds or taking out trash. We were just able to leave and get on the road. Truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in the last twenty years of traveling.

I lived in the cottage for two months and it’s a very special place. Magical touches abound, extremely thoughtfully stocked, and above and beyond hospitality. The bed is comfy, the hot tub under the stars is dreamy, and the location is peaceful and close to nature & the sweetest coffee shop on the east side. Kambra’s hosting is really what makes this place stand out—she is extremely responsive, kind, and laid back. I felt right at home and can’t recommend highly enough!

This place was so clean and beautiful especially in person. It was so quiet for me and my boyfriend and my dog loved it also.

We loved it for a quick vacation in the mountains! My wife and I relaxed in the hot tub, played Scrabble and Mancala in the AirStream, and hung out around Black Mtn and Asheville. The cabin is exactly as advertised and Mae communicated quickly and clearly.

Solid place. Well maintained. Attention to detail. Had plenty of things one doesn’t always find in airbnb like cooking spray and extra toilet paper!

The place is exactly how it looks in the pictures. We came from Virginia Beach which resulted in a bit of a drive, to which the couple quickly accommodated our check in time. They were super helpful and very easy to work with. Everyone kept talking about the bed and pillows and how great they were, and they were exactly right! The hot tub smelled amazing and the surroundings were relaxing. Easy drive into Asheville made for a great night on the town. Coming back to such a peaceful retreat after was the icing on the cake. The sauna was absolutely phenomenal and they even worked with us on the scheduled time as well. You can tell by their responses and the house itself they are passionate about what they do! Book this place ASAP!

A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

Arayna’s Airbnb is in the perfect location! It’s close to downtown Asheville but the mountains are also close. The location is a nice little break from the city life but still close enough to enjoy activities and come back home to rest. She offers a lot of local (and dog friendly!) things to do in the area. Also the lap pool was absolutely amazing. I would stay here again.

Cute little cabin in an Absolutely peaceful, remote area. We loved the bridge to get to the cabin, little river in the front yard, fruit trees full of apples all around, the hot tub and seeing the horses in the field. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at Carolyn’s wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as perfect as the first! The lake views are absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect getaway. Carolyn is a fantastic experienced host, thoughtful and welcoming. It felt like coming back home. Our dog got to join us, and he loved it just as much as we did! If you’re traveling with a dog, you can’t beat the accommodations of Carolyn‘s place. It’s so nice to find a place that’s both pet-friendly and convenient and nice and truly relaxing for humans. We can’t recommend Carolyn’s home high enough and will definitely be back again. Thank you, Carolyn, for another amazing visit!

Amazing time in Asheville. If you are making a decision on visiting Asheville and worried about your choice for AirBnB, please let the worry go and book this home. We had a group of 10 (4 adults/ 6 kids) and repeatedly stated how happy we were that we booked this home over the others we were considering. The home was perfect for us. Our kids never wanted to leave the house. It was roomy, clean, and offered so many at home amenities. We will return to Asheville area and the first place we will look to stay is this one, nestled beautifully in Arden!

This is in a beautiful neighborhood, very peaceful and quiet. Accommodations are great. Josh is a great host, very helpful and responsive. This is our second stay here and we will be back.

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Highly recommended!

Bob was great! Responsive and clear instructions. The view from the cabin is amazing and the deck is perfect for sitting and grilling. Being able to bring our dogs was the best part! If Bob added a swing gate with a latch, it would be even better. The living room furniture feels a bit big for the space, but it provides great seating for chatting and playing games, and the couch is very comfortable. The beds are also really big for the space, but they’re really comfortable! Bob’s cabin is perfect for a cozy weekend with friends in Lake Lure.

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

The cabin was beautiful and quiet which is what we wanted. I loved the decor especially the quilt that hung on the wall and the double sided fireplace was cozy on the cold nights. The cabin was close to Brevard and many hiking trails. Melissa was a great host, she answered all my questions. I will definitely stay here again.

So the pictures don’t do it justice! This place looks even better in person. This is exactly the weekend getaway my husband and I were looking for. It was beautiful. No issues with staying connected to friends or family either. Everything was lovely.

We loved our stay ! Everything was as described. Beautiful cabin to enjoy with small kids or teenagers. The pool table was a huge hit, we enjoyed playing late night games in the basement. Internet is not the best, but I’m glad I took all my DVD’s collection lol we enjoyed watching movies. But DirecTV worked great too. Beds are super super comfy, clean white sheets. A lot of space to just crash out. If your going to cook a lot I suggest to bring your own pots, cabin has everything that you need, but for those extra big meals yes you will need bigger and extra pots. Jacuzzi was great as well, very clean and in a very private space. In overall we love this Cabin! We would rented again! 🙏🏽♥️
