Neighborhood highlights
Located in the heart of Old Topsham, which is loved by its locals & savoured by those who visit for it's charm and breath-taking scenery.
Topsham offers stunning Estuary walks; beautiful wildlife; cobbled alleyways; graceful Strand houses; a Saturday morning market. This quaint historic estuary port boats an eclectic cluster of specialist shops and boutiques, fine restaurants and historic inns, plus quiets spots to watch boats go by and stunning estuary sunsets.
This charming property is 100 yards down to the River and “The Strand”, lined with elegant 17c Dutch-style merchant houses and breathtaking estuary views along the the “Goat Walk”. Hannaford's Quay, Oak slip and the Museum garden are a short walk away and from where it is possible to sit and overlook the river.
Good food is a Topsham speciality with many historic pubs on your doorstep, as well as independent coffee shops and “Darts Farm” farm shop. Sandy Park, the home-ground of Exeter Chief is also in close-proximity.
It’s important for me that you have a wonderful stay and enjoy yourself completely during the visit. Part of the property’s charm is that it’s situated on a historic, tranquil, residential street. All the neighbours are charming, so if you are enjoying yourself after 10.30pm I would really appreciate it if you could reduce noise to a mindful level.
