The space
Step outside first — that's where The Timberline earns its name. The deck system tumbles down three levels of the hillside, and each one is its own little world.
Up top, a covered lounge wraps around the hot tub, with an outdoor TV alongside for movie night; sink in with a drink while the treetops turn pink at dusk. Beside it sits the outdoor kitchen — a Blaze grill, bar seating for eight, and a clever hydraulic window that lifts open from the indoor kitchen so drinks and plates pass straight through to the deck. A few steps down, the middle level is pure play: two hanging cocoon chairs to disappear into, corn hole, a putting green, and a stainless slide the kids (and the brave adults) ride down to the level below. At the bottom, a flagstone fire-pit circle seats eight beneath the pines — built for s'mores and long conversations after dark.

The kitchen features an extra large-capacity Viking refrigerator. Because of its size, please keep the following in mind when stocking it at the beginning of your stay:
Adding a large amount of room-temperature groceries at once can temporarily raise the interior temperature.
After a large grocery load, it may take several hours for the refrigerator and newly added items to fully cool.
Please avoid tightly packing items against the interior air vents so cold air can circulate properly.
Try to limit opening the doors frequently during the first few hours after stocking.
The refrigerator should be set to approximately 38°F and maintain a food-safe temperature of 40°F or below.
Helpful tip: If you're bringing a large amount of groceries, placing already-chilled items in the refrigerator whenever possible will help it cool everything more quickly.
