Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Charming and cosy hut in a rural setting that is ideal for your next romantic getaway. While away your evenings in front of the woodburner with a good book and glass of wine or in the hot tub staring at the skies.
We are an eco friendly site so electric and hot water is limited.
Access to the unheated pool is available from May to end of September.

The space
Situated on the Northern fringe of Bodmin Moor equidistant from North and South coasts, is The View. A well decorated shepherd's hut tucked away on a Cornish hillside in its own private elevated area. Ideal for couples wanting to get away from urban life.
Although small in size it's big on comfort. The interior has been lovingly designed to provide luxurious living. The living area has a cozy seating area and practical woodburner with an oven. A small kitchenette provides for adequate catering needs. The sleeping area has a luxurious bed.
Lovely tropical planting outside space with amazing views across the valley. Outdoor BBQ, hot tub and seating area are provided for outside entertainment. In summer a small swimming pool with large sunbathing deck.
The shower area is 5m away with twin sinks and toilet with low energy shower.
Being nestled between 2 moors there are lots of opportunities for walks, wild swimming and coastal pursuits.
The Cheesering is a stunning geological granite tor only 15 mins away.
Kit Hill gives fabulous views over the surrounding countryside towards the sea. Well known for its wildlife and birds of prey.
Golitha Falls, 20 mins away, has incredible photographic opportunities with its cascading waterfalls and ancient oak woodlands.
The coastal town of Looe is well known for its fresh fish being a working fishing port.
It has lovely restaurants and independent shops.
Guest access
You can observe the poultry, ducks on the pond and chickens and peacocks scratching around in their natural environment. The neighbouring fields are full of cattle and sheep. There's a big, very old Newfoundland dog wandering about so please close all gates. Guests are welcome to sit around the pool area. Be careful around the pool as can be slippery.
Other things to note
This is a rural location please bring wet weather gear and wetsuits for enjoying the watersports. We are an eco friendly site so limited electric and hot water. No high energy appliances.
Relaxing massage is now available on site.
Shut all gates as livestock are everywhere and need to be kept safe.
We are a smallholding so activities occur each day on the land.
