The room is spacious and you can count on fresh premium quality sheets upon your arrival. In the bathroom you can find an inviting tub that begs for a replenishing shower after a tiring adventure. Since 1st January, 2016, the Municipal Tourist Tax - overnight stays - is applied to guests over the age 13y, per person and per overnight stay, up to maximum of 7 nights (this is already charge upon booking).
Also, since 2015 Portugal has more strictly enforced a long-standing law requiring anyone providing paid holiday accommodation to record the entry, exit, and identification details of all non-Portuguese nationals who use that accommodation. This law has been brought into force in Portugal and most other EU countries at some point since the gradual implementation of the 1990 Schengen Agreement that aims to stop human trafficking and other illegal practices. In this case, it is specifically Article 45 of the Schengen Agreement and the recent 'Alojamento Local' law in Portugal that has brought this rule into sharper focus.
The governing body that monitors the movement of foreigners is SEF ('Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras' or the Immigration and Borders Service), and it is mandatory to provide them the following fields for all guests:

- Nationality
- Date of Birth
- Place of Birth
- Document Type (passport, ID)
- ID/Passport Number
- Country of Issue
- Check in & Check out date
- Country of Residence

Where you’ll be

As you can surely see by now, this flat is located in a safe and calm residential area, far away enough from the crowded and noisy streets in the historical centre. What makes it a catch is its balance, as it’s no more than a few tube stops from the heart of the city, but also close enough to the train line that will take you to Sintra, Cascais and Belém. You’ll be privileged to see what an everyday-life is like in Lisbon, as you’re steps away from some of the most iconic avenues in the city and distinguished places like the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and Gardens (which is a must!). If you’re coming for business, this would also be the ideal location as a lot of companies are situated close-by. It’s a perfect location if you need to commute to some other parts of Lisbon for meetings, as well, as you’re fully served with public transportation at your doorstep.
