The Ox House is a converted milking parlor that has been lovingly restored to a high-quality. Self-contained with a large kitchen, dining area, lounge with log burner and comfortable beds, you couldn't possibly wish for more. We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. We are a family run smallholding with alpacas, donkeys, sheep, and chickens and are able to offer advice and ideas on where to go and what to see during your stay in Somerset.
The space
The Ox House is within the farm and you can expect to enjoy an abundance of birds, wildlife and green fields.
The Ox House has a mezzanine floor, with a bedroom upstairs with a double and single bed along with a fully equipped bathroom, downstairs the sofa transforms into a full-size double bed and there is also a downstairs toilet too.
There is a balcony that can be accessed from the bedroom which has a table and chairs for you to enjoy the beautiful view.
There is a communal patio and bbq space which is shared with other holiday properties on-site (2). The paddock can be accessed by all and the alpacas and chickens wander within their paddock and can be fed on request.

We have 2-holiday apartments and a converted barn on-site, as well as the farmhouse. This means that there may be other people around the site during your stay.
