Set in the heart of Colchester’s historic downtown Village District and overlooking the Town Green, The O’Connell House B&B is an 1840 Greek Revival that has been thoughtfully renovated with historic touches and modern hospitality.

This listing is ideal for larger groups who need all 4 bedrooms via 1 reservation.

All reservations include complimentary continental breakfast for overnight guests.

Please note: we operate as a B&B and are on-site in our private space or nearby during your stay.

The space
This whole house rental includes four upstairs bedrooms and space on the main floor in our Dining Room (with coffee bar), Drawing Room and wrap around front porch overlooking the Town Green.

We are located in the heart of downtown Colchester - just a 2 hour drive from New York City, 1.75 hours from Boston and 1 hour from Providence. Locally, we're 20-30 minutes from Hartford, beaches, Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwoods Casino.

Filled with historic architecture - marble fireplaces, crown molding and crystal chandeliers.

Four en suite bedrooms - five beds, one sofa bed.

*We serve a continental breakfast every morning, available at our coffee bar for all overnight guests (up to 12).

All guests at The O'Connell House have access to the wrap around front porch, side porch, main floor half bath, laundry, Dining Room/coffee bar and Drawing Room - a formal sitting room with a baby grand piano.

Parking is on-site.

Requests for early check-in and/or late checkout are considered in the order they are received. They are always up to the discretion of the host. If you would prefer a check-in time before 3pm and/or a checkout after 10am, please send us a note at time of booking. We will let you know if we can accommodate your request 72-24hours before your check-in date. In some instances an additional fee may apply.
