An enchanting 1886 Historical Italianate home in New Baltimore, Michigan. "The Hattie Suite" has 2 joining rooms both included in this booking. One with a King bed and one with a full bed and twin bed. The suite is on the second level and includes a private bathroom. The space
This historic property is located on Lake Saint Clair and is 1.26 acres. Each private bedroom is filled with Victorian details that will take you back in time. From the painted medallions to the elaborate hinges and detailed moldings and trims, the charm never ends. The Black Walnut Inn is only a 4.5 block walk from downtown New Baltimore. Great restaurants, shopping, salons, & more located downtown.
We currently do not serve breakfast due to local ordinance. Complimentary coffee, tea, water bottles and snacks provided!

Guest access
Guests have access to the gorgeous red and blue parlors with massive wood doors and unique Italian fireplaces. Dining room is left open all day and is filled with snacks and drinks. Guests can sit outside on porch, down by water or fish off the dock.

Other things to note
Fireplaces are decorative only and no longer functioning.

Host lives in the house with husband and is there to assist when needed. No access to kitchen or laundry room. Guests have access to grill and mini fridge. No infants or kids under 12 due to historic features of the house, for instance spindle spacing on the stairs.
