This home offers 2.5 bathrooms, conveniently located across both levels, ensuring easy access for all guests. The main level includes a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a nearby half bath. On the upper level, there's a full bathroom with a shower.

The newly remodeled kitchen features stainless steel appliances and decorative light fixtures, creating a space that's both beautiful and functional. Start your morning with a freshly brewed cup of coffee from the coffee bar, equipped with a Keurig Duo coffee maker. Prepare a homemade breakfast using the oven or microwave, and gather around the dining table to plan your day. The open-concept design ensures that multiple guests can enjoy the kitchen without feeling cramped.
Custom cabinets and a full-size refrigerator offer plenty of room to store your favorite groceries. Make use of the toaster, blender, and other kitchen gadgets, and let the whisper-quiet dishwasher handle the cleanup.
There is seating for six at the dining table and four additional seats at the kitchen bar.

The private backyard offers even more space to enjoy, featuring picnic tables and a charcoal grill—perfect for easy outdoor meals and family cookouts. Just bring your charcoal and favorite ingredients!
Pet Note: Pets are not allowed on the backyard sand or putting greens. Please clean up any accidents promptly to keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone.

TRASH:
There are 2 trash bins in front one for trash and one for recycling. Trash pick up days are Monday and Thursday, no need to do anything we have a service to take and replace the trash cans.
PARKING:
Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
Please note: Starter supplies are provided for your convenience. Be prepared to purchase more for the duration of your stay. Supplies include: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 small dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry pods, trash can liners, 1 hand soap & face soap per bathroom, and 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom.
We provide one bath towel per guest (up to our maximum occupancy) as well as bedding. Please remember to bring your own beach towels.
BEACH GEAR:
We provide a few beach chairs and a wagon. These items are frequently replaced due to wear and tear, photos shown in the listing may differ from what’s available. Any beach toys at the property were left by previous guests and are not guaranteed or supplied by us.

HOUSE RULES: Important, please read!
This property requires a signed renter agreement and a security deposit hold to finalize your reservation. The door code is not provided until these steps are completed.
By booking, you agree to follow all house rules.

☞Security Deposit: A $200 security deposit "HOLD" will be placed 1 day before check-in and released 3 days after check-out, provided no damages are reported. ☞Trip Insurance: We recommend purchasing trip insurance for weather or health-related emergencies. Please note that no refunds or date changes are allowed after the free cancellation period.
☞Cancellation Policy: We will adhere to our cancelation policy, In the event of cancellation, any Travel Insurance, Damage Protection and any processing fees are non-refundable.
☞Rental Age: Per HOA rules, guests must be 25+ to book and must stay for the entire duration.
☞Occupancy: Max 10 guests (age 2+ must be included). Over occupancy limit = $500 fee.
☞No Visitors/Unregistered Guests: Only guests on the reservation are allowed. Violations are a code and fire safety issue. $150/person/night fee applies. No third-party bookings.
☞Photo Variations: Photos for reference only; decor items may vary. Room setup and bed sizes stay the same. No refunds for minor changes.
☞No parties, banners, or balloons. Booker is responsible for any damages or extra cleaning fees.
☞Quiet Hours: 10 PM–8 AM. Violations = $250 fine, loss of deposit, and immediate eviction.
☞Check-In: Anytime after 4:00 PM. Early arrival may be possible based on cleaner availability. To guarantee early check-in, a $50–$100 fee applies.
☞Check-out by 10 AM. Late fee: $50 per half-hour. No shipping forgotten items.
☞Smoking: No smoking inside. Violations incur $250 fine, loss of deposit, and damage fees.
☞Parking: Parking is available for up to 4 cars. No street or remote parking available. Do not park on the grass.
☞Security Cameras: 2 cameras (facing parking & staircase) recording during your stay. Tampering incurs $100 fee.
☞Pest Control: We have monthly pest control and bed bug inspections. To minimize insects, please keep doors and windows closed when not in use.
☞Outages: Electricity, internet, and cable services may be interrupted during storms or due to issues beyond our control. While such disruptions are rare and typically resolved within a few hours, we cannot offer refunds for outages, weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.
☞Trash: Trash pick up days are Monday and Thursday. Please allow our service team to handle this, and avoid moving the bins yourself.
☞Outdoor Grill: Always supervise while in use and clean it afterward, removing charcoal and food debris. Please bring your own charcoal.
☞Mini Golf: Putt only – no swinging, chipping, or launching balls. No rough play. Children must be supervised, keep pets off.
☞Use of Amenities: All amenities are provided for guest enjoyment. By using them, guests agree to do so at their own risk. The property owners are not liable for accidents or injuries.
☞NERF PLAY RULES: Play responsibly with protective eyewear. Report damage or loss. Charges may apply or any damages or misuse.
☞Restricted Items: No candles, confetti, hair dye or glitter. Use of any of these will result in a $100 fee, plus charges for any damages caused.
☞DO NOT WASH SEASHELLS IN THE SINKS, use the outdoor shower. Violations incur $100 fee.
☞Showers: Please keep the shower curtain liner INSIDE THE TUB and fully closed to avoid water damage.
☞Toilets: Only flush toilet paper. Do not flush feminine hygiene products, wipes, or trash. You may be held liable for any repair costs due to misuse.
☞Items left behind: We cannot ship. Ensure you have all belongings before checkout.
☞Pet Rules:
Dogs only, up to 2 dogs (50 lbs max).
$150 fee; $200 per pet if not disclosed.
Crate dogs when alone. Bring your own pet towels and crate.
No pets on furniture or in bedrooms.
Dogs must be house-trained.

Guest access
No need for keys! We use a smart lock for easy self check-in. Before your arrival, you'll receive a unique door code for access to the home.
You’ll have full access to the entire home, with the exception of the owner's closet in the upstairs bedroom and the garage. These areas are used for property storage and are off-limits to guests. Please refrain from tampering with or attempting to open these doors. Tampering with these doors or removing any items will result in additional charges.

The Hangout Deck offers the laid-back charm of a classic beach house with plenty of space to relax, play, and make lasting memories. Nestled in the heart of Gulf Shores, our older, character-filled home is just a short walk to the beach, Gulf State Park, The Hangout, and local shops and restaurants.

PET FRIENDLY HOME: We welcome your furry friends! While our cleaning team works hard, some pet hair may still be present. All linens are fresh for each stay, but if pet hair is a concern, this may not be the right fit for you. Otherwise, we’re excited to host you and your pets! :)
SERVICE ANIMALS: It is a criminal offense to knowingly and willfully misrepresent a pet as a service animal under Alabama law.
TRASH: Trash is collected on Mondays and Thursdays.
Please allow our service team to handle this, and avoid moving the bins yourself.
RESTRICTED ITEMS: Candles, glitter, confetti, and hair dye are not permitted. A $100 fee will be charged for any violations, in addition to any cost for damages incurred.
DO NOT WASH SEASHELLS IN THE SINKS, use the outdoor shower. If shells are found in the disposal, a $100 fee will be charged to your card for service removal.
SECURITY CAMERAS: For the safety of our guests and the property, security cameras are installed near the entry staircase and the driveway. These cameras will be on and recording during your stay.
The cameras do not face any private areas. Tampering with, disabling, or obstructing these cameras is strictly prohibited and will result in a $100 fee and possible reservation cancellation without refund.
SLIDING GLASS DOORS: This is an older home, and the sliding glass doors may take a little finesse to lock properly.
We've included a short video in the digital guidebook with step-by-step instructions to make it easy.
For added peace of mind, security bars are also available and can be placed in the tracks to prevent the doors from opening.
FRONT DOOR : Because of seasonal weather changes, the front door frame can swell slightly, which may make locking the door a little tricky at times.
If you run into this issue, try the following:
• Pull the door firmly toward you while turning the key or thumb lock.
• If that doesn't do the trick, lift up gently on the door knob while pulling the door toward you—this usually helps align the lock.
BEACH FLAG WARNING SYSTEM
Please observe the beach flag warnings posted throughout Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Gulf State Park for your safety:
Yellow flag: Medium hazard (moderate surf/currents)
Purple flag: Marine pests present — cause mild stings or irritation, use caution (usually Summer-Fall).
Red flag: High hazard (strong surf/currents)
Double red flags: Water closed to public — it’s illegal to enter the Gulf at this time.
