An unforgettable nature immersive experience built alongside Cedar Creek, bound by forest on our organic permaculture farm.

Enjoy everything our off grid log and iron cabin has to offer including a sunken firepit, raised deck amongst the treetops, a dip in the pristine water of Cedar Creek (seasonal) or a decadent bath in our double overhead bathroom with views over the creek and forest beyond.

The space
Our cabin is rustic style and in keeping with our environmental ethos, is built from recycled and hand built materials wherever possible including our own milled timber and vintage cedar doors and windows. All furniture, linen and bedding are new and high quality and we have a record player with some classic records to enjoy.

It sits lightly in the landscape and local fauna can often be seen from the deck including abundant bird life, wallabies, occasionally dingoes can be heard calling and occasionally fireflies visit the lower tree canopy. The cabin is built on a slope with the bedroom looking out 10 metres above the ground, making the view from bed an unforgettable glimpse into the treetop canopy.

We are located 25 minutes from Port Macquarie and 15 minutes to local supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and beaches in Laurieton. Access to our property is via a gravel road however small 2WD vehicles can easily access the property.

We take pride in offering a luxury experience with bath salts, shea butter moisturiser, bathrobes and slippers for guests to use.

Some things to note about our cabin:

- The Grandis Cabin is intended to be a nature immersive experience with abundant bird life and nature surrounding. As such we do not currently have internet connection and phone reception is patchy. We hope you will switch off and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire

- We have everything you need but as the cabin is small, we only offer a kitchenette setup. This includes a bar fridge, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, electric cooktop, sink, fry pans and pots etc and a large gas Weber bbq outside, however we do not have room for an oven
- The bedroom is located on a mezzanine overlooking the creek and trees. It is reached via a spiral staircase with a 100kg weight limit and clearance is limited in this space. (It is a tiny house style bedroom).

- As an off grid cabin, our toilet is a waterless composting toilet

-As a working farm, animals live here! We have dogs who may bark a greeting as you arrive at the property but they are truly friendly. The dogs do not go down to the cabin but rather stay at our house which can’t be seen from the cabin.
-Please close all gates as you go through them

Guest access
The Cabin and lower half of the property are reserved for guests including access to the creek. We ask that guests please respect our neighbours and don’t climb neighbouring fence lines or follow the creek into neighbouring properties.

Our homestead is where our food forest, bee hives and vegetables are grown. We ask that guests please respect our privacy and don’t help themselves to our vegetables as it’s how we feed our family. We have seasonal fruit and vegetables for purchase when available.
