This sprawling farmhouse is a great place for hosting large families or special events. Nestled in the Catskill Mountains with beautiful porch views of the sunset and summer hayfields. Walk on our nature trails or read a book on the dock, there are endless possiblilities on our manicured estate. From catching fireflies, to patio parties connected to the outdoor sound system, or simply enjoying a fire while the deer graze. All the simplicity of a country setting with the amenities of home.

The space
All of the bedrooms are located on the second and third floors. Bedrooms 1-4 are private with their own doors. "Bedroom 5" is a two room suite with private bath. Bedroom 6 is a master bedroom with a private entrance, coffee bar and private bathroom. "Bedroom 7" is the entire 3rd floor with two sleeping areas connected by a hallway. "The Inn" is a huge space that has 14 individual beds and can sleep 21, plus 4 more on two queen-sized pull-out couches, and 2 more on cots that are available upon request. Guests will enjoy the whole house. The barn and garage are not accessible to guests.

Other things to note
This is not a for-profit business. This is our family vacation home that we rent only a few times each year. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. "The Inn" has been in our family for 100 years and we intend to be responsible stewards until we pass it on to the next generation of family.

The DeerWatch is located in the Great Northern Catskills region between the Village of East Durham and Hamlet of Oak Hill. The farm sits on the former Deans Mill Rd., now County Route 27. There is a popular trout fishing area on the Catskill Creek down the hill from the farm. A paid 24 hr. ambulance squad is within walking distance, and around the corner on Rt 145, there is a Diner/Convenience Store/Gas Station and also a Dollar General Store.
