Originally built as The Buckley Hotel, this historic building has been brought back to life. While retaining the features that makes this home so beautiful and reflective of its time, we have brought in modern amenities that insure a comfortable stay while in the heart of Excelsior Springs. This place is so perfect if you are visiting town as it's steps from shopping, eating and landmarks. The beds are comfy with nice linens because I, for one, love a good night's rest and I bet you do too!
The space
It is such a nice place. I travel often and always stay at Airbnb's and so I add things that I would want. The bed is comfortable, the towels are lush. You can prepare a simple meal and we insure it is clean and sanitary. We have coffee, teas, hot chocolate and snacks. It has 4 units total, two upstairs and two downstairs. The place stands so well on its own with its original hardwood floors and doors and the location is just a block from Hall of Waters and such a good spot to sit outside and watch the city but we have added some special touches that have made it quite comfortable for couples or solo travelers and long term guests!
