Located right next to the Bodmin & Wenford railway line on the outskirts of Bodmin, we have great links to various attractions in Bodmin and throughout Cornwall including the stunning beaches, coastal paths and woodland walks. The bee’s wing is the perfect stay for those who love the great outdoors.
Our 2-person self catering, spacious shepherds hut itself is situated in a picturesque and secure garden set within our family home.
The space
The Shepherds hut consists of 2 rooms. 1 bedroom with a kingsize bed and 1 x living space with kitchenette, sofa, log burner and TV. There is a separate bathroom unit located next to the shepherds hut and hot tub.
You will be provided with enough logs for the log burner during your stay however we charge £10 per netted bag of wood to use on the firepit.
You will be provided with 1 x charcoal bag for the BBQ. We have further bags available at £5 each or you are welcome to bring your own.
Guest access
You have access to all areas of our garden and we will respect your privacy. As you will appreciate this is our family home and you may occasionally see or hear us going about our day to day life.
From the garden gate, you have direct access to a path that links you to the start of the Bodmin- Padstow camel trail which is a must do for bike riders and runners.
The pond area has a wonderful decked area perfect for an alfresco lunch that we you are more than welcome to use during your stay however it is joined to our property therefore we ask you kindly to respect our allocated times of 10am to 7pm.
Other things to note
We work in partnership with ProGym and therefore can provide you with a 24hr access key to the best local gym which is less than 10mins away for £8 a session.
Please note:
Although pet-free, our property is NOT suitable for those with pet allergies.
Dec 1st the hut will decorated for Christmas until 31st Dec.
Our property is situated on the end of a residential road therefore please understand there will may be some noise.
