This spacious 1400 square foot historic downtown McPherson apartment is a hidden gem. Recently renovated piece of history. Privately tucked above Local business and immediately next door to a Café for a convenient breakfast. This downtown hideaway is walking distance to the downtown restaurants, coffee shop, shopping boutiques, historic landmarks & so much more that downtown McPherson has to offer.
The space
The original building was built in 1909. It has the historic 19th century Victorian woodwork, craftsmanship, and architecture that is unmatched in todays construction. The modern bohemian décor with tastes of 19th century, and numerous historic McPherson photos, artwork and paintings will make you feel comfortable, enlightened and relaxed on your visit to our historic downtown.

To think that these beautiful, strong brick walls were laid by hand 110 years ago and have stood the test of time. The gorgeous woodworking and 10' tall tin ceilings with so many blemishes. McPherson has been ranked one of the best places to live in the Midwest, and we are glad to share our historic downtown apartment with you!”

Getting around to downtown amenities is well within walking distance to most shops, parlors and restaurants, Main Street Business districts is only a few blocks long. Street parking anywhere downtown as well as the front of the building during the daytime. Main street is no parking 3AM-5AM, so parking will have to be on adjacent side street (Elizabeth St) overnight, a 30 second walk. (Map with Welcome Guide).

My work: Project Manager
Hello, we are the Walkers and we are excited to be your hosts. We take pride in this historic 1909 downtown building and hope you enjoy it's charm during your stay. Our goal was to keep some of the vintage charm while adding some modern touches to accommodate our guests. We both grew up in and close to this wonderful community and work close by. We have two children and two dogs that keep us busy. We enjoy spending mornings at local coffee shops, afternoons outdoors, reading, crafting, DIY projects and keeping up with our kids.
