An arching centaur stands guard at the entrance, while the backyard offers an enchanted playground filled with mythical beings and a stone labyrinth. The space
Discover The Owl's Post, a sanctuary of refined comfort and captivating allure. Ideally located between the Knoxville airport and a short drive to all the attractions of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Forgotten Forest is a perfect retreat for wizards of all ages seeking fun and entertainment amongst muggles by day, and peace and quiet by night back in the world of magical things!

This distinguished residence presents three exquisitely appointed bedrooms, each a unique experience in itself: The Master Suite showcases a sumptuous king-size bed, complemented by an en-suite bathroom. The Second Bedroom features a queen-size bed upstairs and is bathed in natural light. The Bunk Bedroom provides a delightful and practical space with a robust study twin-over-full bunk bed, and comfortable seats, ideally suited for younger guests or shared accommodations.

The heart of the home is the fully equipped elegant kitchen, poised for culinary artistry, graced with state-of-the-art appliances and a breakfast bar. The living and dining area on the ground floor offers an elegant setting for convivial gatherings and memorable meals, enhanced by a stone fireplace and seamless access to the outdoor gardens.

Ascending to the upper level, the theater/TV room presents a cozy retreat with a sofa bed, perfect for relaxation and entertainment, featuring a large-screen television and plush seating. Outside, savor the verdant garden vista and the outdoor seating, including a patio area complete with a stone firepit and a propane BBQ Grill.

The Owl’s Post and The Medieval Splendor Castle both border the central attraction of the Forgotten Forest, with a romantic stone arch path leading to an exquisite garden full of mythical creatures and enchanted objects from ancient days. As guests of The Owl’s Post, you are invited to invoke the timeless powers of the wishing well, the stone circle, the tree spirit, and the flying dragon.

Guest access
As GPS guides you to enter the Forgotten Forest community, you will see the 10 foot warrior standing guard at the entrance. Turn RIGHT and go up the hill. After passing 4 single story, grass-roofed houses, the house on the LEFT just before the Castle, is the Owl's Post. There is a Centaur statue right in front of this house.

The Keypad code is in your guest email, but as a back up we do have a lock box for keys just in case.

Other things to note
Please keep children under close adult supervision at all times.

About the Fire Pit:
Please check online for local fire bans in effect (sevierema . org) prior to deciding to use the fire pit. Please be sure that any fire/ ember in the fire pit is completely put out prior to leaving the fire pit area.
If you plan to use the firepit please pick up fire wood when you get grocery :)

About the Hot Tub:

Please shower before entering the hot tub. Use the hot tub at your own risk. Do not use it if you are pregnant, or have a medical condition that would put you at risk for using a hot tub. After each use, it is important that you fully close and click in the snap closures of the hot tub cover.

Community Under Construction:
Some of the houses at the Forgotten Forest are still under construction. So please bear with us as during business hours on weekdays there may be some construction noise and traffic. Absolutely peaceful in the mornings, evenings and weekends :)
