Welcome to The Cattails your perfect retreat just 2 miles from the charming village of Skaneateles! Our delightful 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom bungalow offers a serene escape with modern comforts and rustic charm.
Step inside to discover a cozy yet spacious interior. The media room is perfect for movie nights, while the large deck invites you to unwind, while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
Nestled on over an acre of beautiful land, this home provides ample space for relaxation and enjoyment.

The space
Step inside to discover a cozy yet spacious interior. The media room is perfect for movie nights or playing games, while the large deck invites you to unwind with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine, all while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. Or relax around our newly added fire pit area.

Each bedroom is thoughtfully decorated to ensure a restful night's sleep (including split system AC/Heating in all bedrooms), and the bathrooms are equipped with all the essentials for your convenience.

The King bedroom has its own private bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, and its own deck for a quiet cup of coffee in the morning.

The Queen Bunk room has a Queen bed and a twin sized bunk bed.

The Queen room has a Queen bed, direct access to the shared bathroom and access to the front porch.

The Loft Bedroom is a retreat of its own with Queen bed and reading area. Please note, access to the Loft Bedroom is via a short but relatively steep ladder stair, it is NOT recommended for people with mobility issues OR children (for safety reasons).

The primary living room has a twin sized pullout sofa bed.

The fully equipped chef’s kitchen makes meal preparation a breeze, whether you’re cooking a family feast or enjoying a quick snack.

Outdoors, the property with its boutique orchard, creek, and the surrounding cattails create a picturesque setting for a leisurely stroll, a relax in the hammock, a playful afternoon with the kids or an evening by the fire pit. There are a couple of kids bikes (located in the basement) available for use by guests. Please note, helmets are not provided and guests use these bikes at their own risk.

The proximity to Skaneateles village means you can easily explore the local shops, dine at gourmet restaurants, or enjoy the scenic beauty of Skaneateles Lake.

If adventure calls, hire a boat or kayak, or take a drive (or book a guided tour) on one of the many famous wine trails in the region.
