Welcome to That Red Cabin! This cozy mountain cabin is your perfect Yosemite stay. Located just 15 minutes from the south gates of Yosemite National Park, and 10 minutes from the town of Oakhurst. You’ll be close to Yosemite, but also conveniently close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and everything else this cute mountain town has to offer!

We’re also very close to Bass Lake, and walking distance to Lewis Creek Trailhead, a National Forest trail featuring two waterfalls.

The space
This cozy studio is the perfect place for two people visiting Yosemite National Park or just wanting to unwind. Small in size but huge in coziness, it has everything you need for a lovely stay. Smart TV, wifi, kitchenette, walk-in shower, washer and dryer, and a wonderful mountain view you can enjoy from the bed or from the deck!

Please note that this studio shares 1 acre of land with our home (which we also rent for a couple of months out of the year while we travel). Both places have their separate entrances and fenced off areas. Please respect your neighbors while staying here.

Other things to note
- If you're coming during the winter months, you will need to carry tire chains. We are at 3,400 ft of altitude so we do get snow in the neighborhood. It's so beautiful, but make sure you and your vehicle are prepared! Winter conditions can make certain outdoor areas icy and slippery, so please be mindful of that.

- We have Starlink Internet and are really happy with the results! It is still satellite internet, which means WiFi might go out during really bad weather (a lot of rain or snow).

- We have AT&T and we have service on our phones. Other carriers might not.

- No parties allowed whatsoever.

- Well-behaved dogs are allowed, but please keep in mind this is a 350 sqft studio. A small/medium dog might be a better fit for the place. There's a $50 pet fee per reservation. Please don’t bring pets without informing the host.

- Smoking is not allowed.

- No open flames of any kind are allowed all year round. Wildfires can easily start and spread, especially in the summer.

- We are on septic, so, please don't throw anything other than toilet paper in the toilet.

- Wildlife: we’ve seen deer, skunks, turkeys, foxes, and a brown bear around our property. Please don’t feed wildlife. A good rule of thumb is if you leave them alone, they’ll do the same.

- If you believe there is a chance you might not make it to your trip, we encourage you to get Travel Insurance. As hosts, we do not provide travel insurance, and we can't protect your travel plans from unexpected events.
