Explore our private ghost town, pan for gold, challenge the family to nine holes of miniature golf, enjoy carnival games, ride the giant rocking horse, and see Big Bear’s largest teeter-totter. It's a destination families, couples, and kids of all ages won't forget.
After a day of fun, relax by the wood-burning fireplace or retreat to the spacious upstairs master suite with its private bathroom in this unique mountain escape.

The Space
Set on nearly 30,000 square feet of open property, Teddy Bear’s Ranch gives kids and dogs plenty of room to run, play, and explore. The rustic log cabin offers approximately 1,450 square feet of comfortable living space designed for making memories together.

The upstairs master suite features a queen bed, private bathroom, Roku TV with Big Bear TV and premium channels, plus a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and mini refrigerator. An adjoining loft overlooks the living room and includes another queen bed. Two additional bedrooms are located downstairs, while the open kitchen, dining area, and living room create the perfect gathering place. The dining table seats eight, and the cozy living room centers around a wood-burning fireplace.

Step outside to relax on the front porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing, or enjoy the back deck with a picnic table and gas barbecue. The backyard is where the fun continues with miniature golf, tetherball, a tree swing, chickens and ducks, and plenty of open space to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Most bedrooms also include a Roku TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker.

Looking for a memorable movie night? Reserve the Big Bear TV studio in advance and enjoy an 85-inch television in your own private theater. The studio also features a vintage mechanical horse, candy machines, and the set of Growing Up Gracey: an Arts and Crafts studio where guests can make friendship bracelets.

Guests who are interested are also welcome to make an optional appearance on Big Bear Television during their stay—just ask Teddy for details.

Guests with electric vehicles are welcome to use the Wallbox EV charger for $10 per vehicle, per day.

Other Things to Note
The Big Bear TV studio is normally closed to guests unless reserved in advance.

The owner lives on the property in a private camper located inside a fenced horse corral, completely separate from the guest areas. Occasionally, Teddy may access the chicken coops or the detached Big Bear Television studio, but your cabin and outdoor guest amenities remain private. Many guests appreciate having the owner nearby if they have questions, need recommendations, or require assistance during their stay, while still enjoying complete privacy.

For everyone's safety, exterior security cameras monitor the very large property.

The primary guest must be at least 18 years old.
School or organizational groups are not permitted unless they meet Airbnb occupancy requirements.

Guest access
There is a code to enter the front door. Code will be given after reservation is made prior to visit.

Other things to note
There are literally too many things to list here at the ranch. Lots of fun to be had and things are always changing with the weather. Guests have complete and sole use of the log cabin.

This is not a theme park and no mechanical rides exist here besides Hugo the horse. He is a coin operated horse and can be accessed by request.

The acre property (besides the horse corral and inside of the barn known as Big Bear TV) is yours to enjoy. It's a huge property with plenty of space and parking.

Owner will send a link to an Occupancy Agreement with all the details of your stay once you make a reservation.

My work: Big Bear Television
As a prior tour guide at Universal Studios and a TV producer/real estate agent, I love imagination and invention. I also work part-time as the Marketing Director at Village Theaters and the Holiday Inn in Big Bear Lake, CA. I host a few TV shows on Big Bear TV. If you or someone in your party wants to be interviewed about your visit to Big Bear, let me know. My first job back in the 90s was promoting gospel music followed by working at Dollywood.
