Sleep to the sounds of loons wailing and wake to the sounds of Elk bellowing in this 1200 sqft remodeled cottage on Lake Louise. Relax and recharge on peaceful private no-wake lake. We are near all sports Lakes: Lake May, Lake Nettie and Lost Lake. Close to 26 Presque Isle Trails for hiking and more. Come explore the Bicentennial Pathway to Ocqueoc Falls. Sip your favorite beverage while looking out at the lake from the door wall. In season includes dock and old paddle boat on the lake.

The space
All new fresh and clean. Features a well appointed remodeled kitchen with all new appliances. Fresh paint through-out. 2 bedrooms: One with a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with brand new Ikea memory foam mattresses. Sink into the comfortable leather couches and just watch the lake from the picture window or enjoy it from the wide front porch. Majority of the art work are original works. This rustic/eclectic decor is a work in progress.

Designated parking in the driveway. This cottage is off the beaten path and remote, you must have a reliable vehicle to get around.

Other things to note
Waterfront on LAKE LOUISE. Seasonal dock, old paddle boat, Window A/C unit. Outdoor furniture, picnic table , grill and fire pit is also seasonal and put away in the off season. BEACH TOWELS are there for your use.

Memorial day through Labor day minimum booking is 6 nights/7 days.

Local property managers are just down the road and available to assist with any issues.

If you would like to book please include information about you, your age (over 28, insurance requirements), fellow guests and your trip. If you have positive reviews from previous hosts we don't need as much background, but if there is no review and no information in your profile it is hard for me to approve your stay in my home. I don't need much detail, but enough so that I know you will be fine guests in my place.

Hawks is a rural lake community, surrounded by thousand of pristine wild areas. Peace and serenity can be found here. This cottage a half hour from Hillman or Rogers City. It is close to Lake Nettie, Lake May and Lost Lake as well as others. The location is perfect for a getaway and only 20 minutes from town if supplies should be needed. WIldlife abounds up here: See bald eagles, rogue elk herd, white tail deer, sand hill cranes, coyote, fox, bobcat and more... Hike the trail and see the Ocequeoc Water Falls or visit Atlanta, Michigan's sinkholes near Shoepac Lake.
