This one bedroom Kottage is located on the 1st floor of a 7 unit apartment building and boasts stylish and comfortable furnishings along with thoughtful touches and abundant natural lighting. Treat yourself to a large soaking tub for the ultimate in relaxation. Just steps away is a warmly lit and spacious covered patio with views of neighboring historic homes and includes comfortable furnishings, a dining table, charcoal grill and friendly tenants. This home is located on a corner lot with a mostly fenced in, private, paved and well lit parking lot and small yard. This location is a reasonable walk to WMU and K-College. Pets considered with a monthly pet fee.

In 1996, at the age of 25, Kara purchased her first property, a historic, multi-family home near Downtown Kalamazoo. Not knowing or even imagining what would come of it, Kara set out on an adventure. The home needed lots of love. Although she had no prior experience in this area, she took the role of steward very seriously and set out to do her best. Time spent pouring over the home quickly led to a new found passion for painting, restoration and even interior design. Through this, Kara was able to renovate and restore her first home while also building a business to extend the same service to others. 15 years later in 2011, her now thoughtfully renovated, historic beauty shows its appreciation and Kara's Kottages was born.
