Enjoy the wide open spaces, fresh country air and a return to simpler times during your farm stay at Strode Homestead Lodge. Our early 1900’s farmhouse has been a treasure in our family with a long history of welcoming in friends, neighbors and hopefully you! The Lodge packs vintage charm with all of the modern amenities including a large, fully stocked kitchen. Let time slow down as you relax on the patio, enjoy a yard game or two and take in the sunset and stars or just watch the corn grow!

The space
The lodge was my grandparents' home, an American Four Square built in the early 1900's with two additions in decades later. The main two bedrooms and bathroom are located on the main floor as well as the laundry room. Two additional bedrooms and one bathroom are located up a steep flight of stairs. There is a sturdy handrail but take your time. The lodge is cooled by window units as central air was never installed. The kitchen and utility room gets warm in the middle of summer.

* Reservations must be made by a guest staying at the property. (No third party booking please.) To help ensure a smooth and secure stay for everyone, be sure the person making the reservation is also one of the guests staying with us for the entire stay.
* Please include all guests on your reservation. Our home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. For safety and insurance purposes, we ask that your reservation accurately reflects everyone who will be staying at the property. Only the number of guests listed on the reservation may stay overnight.

Guest access
We hope you’ll take time to relax and enjoy the patio during your stay. Fire up the grill, savor a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, and enjoy the peaceful country setting with family and friends.

The shaded yard offers plenty of space for yard games and outdoor fun. Little ones will love the rope swing located near the patio, and guests are welcome to use the bocce ball set located in the utility room.

For your safety, please do not enter any outbuildings or climb on farm equipment during your stay.
