Guests highlight the hot tub, the cozy wood stove, and how responsive Deb and Naren are
"It was quiet and peaceful but also so close to downtown Stowe," is what a guest said about our cabin, minutes from Stowe Village and the mountain. After a day on the trails or the slopes, sink into the private hot tub as steam rises off the water. Evenings are for the backyard, fire pit crackling, hammock in the pines, wood stove going inside. Great for fall foliage, hiking, and ski season. Sleeps nine: two kings, a bunk room, and a sofa bed. Pet-friendly, with kitchen, grill, and laundry.
The space
Minutes from Stowe Village and the mountain, our cabin sits on a wooded lane where the quiet is the whole point. Out back, the private hot tub sits under the trees, the fire pit and hammock anchor the yard, and a wood stove keeps the living room warm through ski season. The setting reads remote, yet downtown is about 6 to 8 minutes away and the lifts are a short drive beyond.
Two bedrooms hold king beds, one on the main floor and one upstairs. A third room is built for kids, with two sets of bunk beds and a trundle that sleeps up to five. A sofa bed in the living room brings the total to eight beds for up to nine guests. Two full bathrooms, both with tub-shower combos, mean no one waits in line after a day on the slopes.
The backyard is the heart of the stay. The hot tub steams under the pines, the fire pit sits ringed with Adirondack chairs and a stocked supply of wood, and the hammock strung between the pine trees invites a slow afternoon. A wrap-around deck off the house holds a gas grill and seating for dinner outdoors, and the whole yard opens up for your dog to roam.
