The space
Quiet, calm, and peaceful — these are the words guests use to describe our rural property.

Grindstone Creek, a favorite local fishing stream, is less than a mile away. Scenic NYS Route 3 (1.5 miles) leads to area beaches, state parks, excellent fishing, and great local dining.
Guest access
The first-floor entry offers hooks for coats and outerwear. The living room with fireplace and TV, along with the dining room and fully equipped kitchen, are shared common areas. A coffee bar is conveniently set up on the buffet in the dining room.
On the second floor, you'll have easy access to your private bedroom and the nearby shared guest bathroom.
You're also welcome to enjoy the elevated deck, spacious lawn, and fire pit area
During your stay
We are friendly, outgoing hosts who enjoy chatting with guests. As life-long locals, we’re happy to share recommendations and connect you with the best the Pulaski area has to offer. At the same time, we fully respect your privacy — if you prefer to keep to yourselves, we’re more than happy to give you all the space you need.
You may see us around doing household chores, working on the property, or caring for our animals.
Other things to note
Covid-19 considerations:
We continue to take health and safety seriously. Please do not come if you are experiencing Covid symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), have tested positive in the past 14 days, or have had direct exposure to a confirmed case in the past 14 days.
Kitchen & dining use:
Feel free to use the kitchen to prepare meals and enjoy the dining room or elevated deck for eating. We simply ask that you clean up afterward — wash dishes, put away food, wipe countertops, and sweep if needed.
Alternative listings:
Check out our other rooms, "The Roost" and "The Respite," if you're traveling with a larger group.
Our pets:
We have a friendly but large dog, Holly, who lives in the house. We completely understand if you have reservations about big dogs — just let us know in advance and we’re happy to crate her for you during your stay (and we always crate her when we’re away). We also have barn cats that may greet you in the driveway. One cat occasionally visits the basement and first floor.
Please note: Cats are never allowed in the guest rooms.

Meet your host
My work: Retired RN
I spend too much time: Reading gardening books
Fun fact: We have 6 children and 18 grandchildren
Pets: Our velcro Doberman, Holly;
I’m happy to spend time with my guests or give them space
I love the outdoors and pursue opportunities to be there: gardening, bicycling, horseback riding, hiking, playing with our grandchildren. I enjoy watching birds at our feeders and traveling with my husband, Larry.
