Welcome home to your own completely private 15-acre Texas ranch retreat! Feel like a rock star on this peaceful, secluded, retreat that is surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet only 2 miles from charming Montgomery. An ideal getaway for family and friends to stay, gather, relax, celebrate and make memorable moments together. Excellent location for several local wedding venues, the Texas Renaissance Festival, wineries, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, Kroger, HEB and 24-hour Walmart.
The space
Once you arrive, you can settle in and truly enjoy the ranch at your own pace. This spacious Texas property offers room to gather, places to relax and recharge, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Soma Ranch is especially well suited for families and friends traveling together, wedding groups, celebrations, reunions, and special getaways.
THE RANCH
The ranch house features a generous wraparound porch, a large outdoor deck and seating area, and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
Enjoy our wellness amenities, including a mineral therapeutic 8-person hot tub, 4-person far-infrared sauna, spectacular 75' x 10' Olympic-length lap pool, and our newest addition; a refreshing cold plunge.
The 1-acre stocked pond is another favorite gathering spot. Relax on the dock, watch the wildlife, or try your hand at catch-and-release fishing. Fishing poles are provided.
The ranch is also home to rescued horses and donkeys. Guests are welcome to watch them and, when appropriate, say hello or offer a gentle pet. For everyone’s safety, no riding is permitted.

Although the ranch feels wonderfully removed from everyday life, you're just minutes from Montgomery’s charming shops, restaurants, cafes, wineries, and wedding venues.

Barndo Beauty
Barndo Beauty is our spacious group accommodation, featuring a dormitory-style sleeping area with a queen bed, 6 twin beds, and 2 bunk beds. It also offers a comfortable lounge, dining area with seating for 8, and a convenient kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle. With 2 bathrooms offering a total of 3 toilets, 3 sinks, and 3 showers, Barndo Beauty is an excellent option for wedding parties, family groups, retreats, and larger gatherings.

You’ll have complete and private access to the Ranch House and the 15-acre property during your stay. Enjoy the pool, pond and dock, outdoor spaces, wellness amenities, and beautiful ranch surroundings at your leisure.
The Yoga/Dance Studio may also be available for suitable activities at an additional hourly rate. Studio use must be approved and booked in advance.
Want to make your stay even more special? Private Yoga, Nia, or Meditation sessions are available for $80/hour and must be pre-booked. These experiences are a wonderful way to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the ranch in a deeper way.
Want to take relaxation to the next level? Let us know and we can arrange for a licensed massage therapist to come on site during your stay. You and your group can enjoy a massage without ever having to leave the Ranch. Advance booking is recommended.

No parties or events. Soma Ranch is a peaceful retreat, not a party house.
A $500+ fine may apply for unauthorized parties or events.
Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. The maximum number of guests is 10 unless additional accommodations have been specifically arranged and approved in advance. If the number of guests exceeds the agreed occupancy, we reserve the right to ask the entire group to leave immediately, without refund.
No smoking of any kind. Smoking, vaping, and other forms of smoking are not permitted anywhere on the property, including outdoor areas.
Exterior security cameras
There are two exterior cameras on the property. They are used to monitor the property for liability, safety, and compliance with house rules. There are no cameras inside the guest accommodations or private outdoor spaces.
