This Eco Airstream is situated in a wilding area on the Solent overlooking the Isle of Wight guests have direct access to a lovely secluded beach or relax on the bank of our tranquil lake. Solent Haven Glamping owners converted their 1957 Vintage Airstream as a pandemic project & drove it across the USA, then bought it by boat to Southampton.

Ideal for dog walkers, bird watchers, outdoor & water lovers.

The New Forest is about 30-40 mins away. We are between Southampton and Portsmouth.

The space
We converted this 1957 Airstream Overlander 27 from its original Sante Fe worker accomodation to a more contemporary lay out with very large main bed and spacious dinette.  During 2021, we travelled over 10 000 miles from San Francisco to Baltimore and put it on a ship for Southampton.  See  trailerdreams dot com for more info.

The owners live the other side of the lake and are available if needed.

Situated on the England Coast Path the site is ideal for Dog Owners with lovely walks along the Beach  to Titchfield Haven - Bird Sanctuary or the other way towards Warsash through the Hook Lake Nature Reserve.  Inland there is the local nature reserve - Warsash Common or Hamble River  There are many other outdoor activities including Sailing, Fishing, Cycling or visiting Calshot Activities Center.  For food there are great pubs in Warsash, Hamble or Titchfield.  You can also walk to the local Nook & Cranny in the picturesque Hook village for a coffee & cake.  If you are looking for more urban activites then you can visit the nearby cities of Winchester, Portsmouth or Southampton or take the ferry to the Isle of Wight.
