Cozy and quiet apartment with an excellent location just outside the tourist area of the city, but still well served by public transport (bus and tramway), reaching the old town centre and Florence Santa Maria Novella station in just 15 minutes. Easy access by car, too, with garage or parking nearby. Shops, bars and restaurants are all around. Just in front of the flat lies the beautiful park of Villa Strozzi with a small hill from where you can enjoy a lovely view of the city.
The space
Apartment 'Soffiano' is located on the first floor of an elegant building, with a lift serving all floors.
Reserved to non-smoking guests, it is composed of a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom with either a king-size or two twin beds, and a large bathroom with shower-box, for a total of approximately 80sqmts (apx 95 sqyds).
It accommodates up to four people, two in the bedroom and two using the foldaway beds in the living room.
The kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and refrigerator.
It goes without saying that the apartment offers self regulated heating, washing and drying machine, and free wi-fi.

Apartment 'Soffiano' is located at no. 4, Via di Soffiano.
To reach it from Firenze Santa Maria Novella RAILWAY STATION, one can take a taxi at a cost of around 25 €uro, or the T1 tramway direction 'Villa Costanza' and get off at the 'Sansovino' stop - from here, continue to walk on Via Pietro Francavilla, then on Via di Monticelli: the apartment is just across Via Pisana.
From Firenze Peretola AIRPORT, a taxi directly to the apartment costs around 30 €uros. Otherwise one can take the T2 tramway line to the 'Alamanni-Stazione SMN' stop, then change onto the T1 line direction 'Villa Costanza' to the 'Sansovino' stop and then continue on foot, as indicated above.
By CAR, you can easily get to the apartment to unload your luggage, and then leave your car in one of the nearby public car parks or private garages.
Since Florence is not very large and driving around the city centre is not very easy, we strongly recommend leaving the car in the garage and plan on just walking around or using the bus to reach Fiesole and Piazzale Michelangelo. The car, instead, comes in useful to make some tours, such as Chianti, Pisa, Vinci, San Gimignano, Siena, Arezzo.
