Nestled in the heart of rural North Yorkshire - Skylark is the perfect hideaway to take some time out and unwind. Wake up to amazing views across our meadows up to The White Horse of Kilburn.

One mile outside the bustling market town of Easingwold, half way between York and the North York Moors, Skylark makes the perfect base to explore the best Yorkshire has to offer. We're down some narrow country lanes, so make sure to bring a map!

The space
Skylark Cottage is a beautiful one bedroom cottage in converted farm buildings, part of 'The Lund' - a smallholding just outside the market town of Easingwold.

The cottage has dedicated parking directly outside.

Entry to the cottage is up two steps into a light and airy kitchen-diner equipped with everything you would hope for - including fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.

The lounge area has a cosy electric mini-range to toast your toes in the evening. TV, radio and wi-fi are all to hand.

Through from the lounge is the large double bedroom with en-suite shower room. From the warmth of the bed you can enjoy views up north across our meadow to the iconic White Horse of Kilburn - signalling the south-west corner of the North York Moors.

Skylark is surrounded by open farmland, including Pomfret's Wood - four acres of new woodland and meadow. (Note - with open farmland comes the possibility of occasional 'farmyard aromas'!)

Please note - the cottage is not suitable for infants.

Guest access
You will need your own transport to stay here. The nearest public transport is buses in Easingwold - appox. 1 mile away.

Other things to note
'The Lund' also includes 'Lund Studios' - a small independent arts centre hosting art courses from March through to November. Many people who say in Skylark are joining us for a course.

Skylark is separate from the Studios and anyone is welcome to book a break here - though do be aware that if there is a course running, there may be the occasional artist wandering around during the day!
