"Sitmaarso" is a renovated clay-brick manor house in the back of the large valley which constitutes Wagenpad farm. It is private and located in a unique setting with a beautiful view over the southern Cederberg. Cape Mountain Zebra, Springbok and Bontebok can be seen on the farm, which also has kilometers of single-track hiking trails.

The space
Sitmaarso consists of a main house, with a kitchen and living area, two indoor fireplaces and a large bedroom with a double bed, as well as a large, shaded stoep with a beautiful view. Leading from the stoep there is a smaller bedroom with two single beds. Inside the house is a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. The annex, "Sakkie se kerk", is separate from the main house, which has an additional double-bed bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The annex is positioned under the Bluegum Trees.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the main house and walking or cycling access to the entire farm (we ask that guests do not drive off the main farm roads). The farm has over 15km of established hiking and mountain biking trails, and rock climbing routes. In addition, the farm has Cape Mountain Zebra, Springbok, Bontebok and Vaal Rhebok, as well as abundant birdlife which guests are likely to see.

Other things to note
The house runs on solar power and each house - the main house and the annex has one charge point where multiple appliances can be charged. Please do not use electric hair dryers, electric kettles or other high-wattage electrical appliances. Charging of laptops and kindles is possible.
