What a great place, a beautiful setting and an extremely well appointed unit. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

We really had wonderful stay, we felt right at home and had the relaxing get away we wanted. There is everything you can think of and would need and even more. Love the recycling!!! That lake view is something simple but so mesmerising - wish we stayed longer. Definitely recommend!!!

A lovely tiny home in the most beautiful area. The view from the house is stunning and there is a nice, short hike to a waterfall right on the property. A real escape from the city and a relaxing, private environment embedded in nature. Aaron was very nice and helpful and recommended some places to visit in the area. We were also super late with checkin and they were very accommodating and helpful!

Incredible apartment with incredible views. The apartment was decorated and fitted to a very high spec. Cherice greeted us and made our stay very welcome. There is a lovely bar and a small convenient general store within walking distance. A car is essential for this property. If you’re looking for a peaceful time away, this is the place. Would definitely recommend.

Such a peacful time. Wonderful to have the dam just five minutes walk away. All the comforts you need including a heater and indoor fireplace for cooler days and a fan for warm days. The local cat was super friendly. We were really able to relax and unwind. We visited a wine farm nearby on our second day which was lovely.

We had an incredible time in the beautiful Airbnb! Anso, her husband and sons treated us incredibly warmly and made us feel so comfortable. The accommodation is stunning! Every detail is so full of love, you can really feel that the hosts here are passionate about their work. I really can't recommend a stay there enough and will definitely return if I am ever lucky enough to be in South Africa again. THANK YOU! Really! Anso also gave us really good Tipps how to reach our next stop and they Even brought us to the Airbnb since we did not have a 4x4! WOW! Ps: After two days in the accommodation my body battery was at 100% according to Garmin - I don't know when I'll ever reach that again!!!

We loved every minute of our stay at this lovely cottage, perfect for kids (and furkids) with the park across the road and the beautiful beach just a short walk away. The house is well equipped and just as described and shown in the photos. Talbot was a great host and always responsive. We will definitely be back very soon.

A very comfortable stay in a peaceful and beautiful area. The house had all amenities and was clean and cozy. Fun for kids to kayak on dam and fabulous running trails. A really great weekend away.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed. Location was great - 6 min walk to the beach and shop. Will be back!

We had so much fun! Our dogs had a blast in the lake and the freedom of some private space. We loved the hot tub, the view and the braai! It can get quite buggy, but there was bug spray and a lovely mosquito net which helped a lot. Greg was super helpful, was a phone call away when we needed something. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic pet friendly accommodation! We stayed 3 nights at Andrew & Ruth but could have stayed forever! Our 3 dogs had so much space and were made to feel welcome with freedom to roam within a fully fenced oasis! A couple minutes drive from Paternoster but we loved the tranquility and quiet of being out of town. We will be back!

Had a lovely and comfortable stay, so much so that we extended our stay with a few extra days. The place was really neat and clean, and had everything we needed. It was also particularly nice to have options between the inside braai, outside braai and gas braai. The location is also close to Shark Bay, wich is nice if you are planning a beach holiday. All in all a nice stay, and would stay there again.

This place was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was looking for over my holiday weekend. The beach was right outside the back door. It was clean, so peaceful, and we loved every moment of it. The only thing I would note is that I was looking forward to talking a bath but could not as there was signage in the home noting a local water shortage and to only shower (and limit it to two minutes or less). I know the host can’t control a water shortage but it would be helpful to note it in the listing directly so there are no surprises. Even so, I would happily stay again at this place!

We recently had an unforgettable stay in Jacobsbaai, a hidden gem on the West Coast of South Africa. The house is a perfect getaway for relaxing and enjoying stunning ocean views. Our accommodation was luxurious and well-equipped, offering all the comforts of home. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking sunsets made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I highly recommend Jacobsbaai to anyone seeking tranquillity and natural beauty.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas with our two dogs. Her horse came to visit every morning and evening- which for me was a treat as I love horses. Very relaxing cottage and yard and a hot tub as well! Would highly recommend it.

We had a blissfull week at Uithoek with our fur child. The farm is so peaceful and the cottage was very comfortable and well equipped with everything that you need. The mozzie net was a great addition! Highlights were the tranquil mornings paddling on the vlei, and sundowners in the hot tub in the evening which made recharging our batteries possible. The farm is a short drive away from Elands Bay and a lovely farmstall at Vensterklip. James, our host, is a gem. Very responsive, knowledgeable and friendly and we were lucky to have met him and his pooches whilst we were there. Will definitely be recommending Uithoek and hope to be back again.

We had a great time at Alison’s house. It was perfect for us as two families with toddlers and enjoying kitesurfing. Simple but nice cottage with perfect location and direct access to the beach and kite spot. Kids loved the garden that was also wind protected and had some shade on hot days. We will come back.

Lovely home in a quiet culdesac. Dog friendly and secure. Sam was super responsive and accommodating to all our needs. 5+ minute walk to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Catherine's place. It is beautiful house, equipment with everything you might need and with amazing view on the sharks bay lagoon. For kitesurfers: there is walking distance to the beach but the return is uphill so better to go by car. You can see lagoon with kites on the water.

A charming farm escape away from it all with absolutely nothing but the sound of nature. A real op-die-plaas experience but with all the modernity you need. Secret Dam is also just such a beautiful way to wash off the city blues. Thanks to Hope and her family for such a lovely experience!

Huckleberry House was a haven, with fantastic views of the beautiful Witzenberg mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it was exactly what we hoped it would be. It was great value for money, and we would definitely recommend staying there.

WOW!!! Where do I start!? This is more than just accommodation. It’s an experience! From the minute we arrived I felt right at home. Warm welcoming, drinks on the porch while listening to the extensive history of the farm and structures we will be staying in and visiting. The chalet was stunning!( old renovated farm house ) Beautiful views and wildlife all around. The following morning we had a tour around the farm which was unbelievable. Steve is AWESOME!! I thoroughly enjoyed spending most of our day with him making missions and discovering new sights on the farm. I will most definitely be coming back. Thanks for the unforgettable experience.
