Located in a residential area just blocks north of Geneva Lake, a short 10-15 min walk outside the cottage door to the bustle in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva and the serene water of Geneva Lake.

The space
Built in 1927 and lovingly renewed in 2021, Silver Maple Cottage is a 2 bedroom/1.5 bath quaint 2-story cottage filled with unique areas and nooks in almost 1,100 square feet of space to give you privacy, yet ample room to share memories with your friends and family.

On the first floor, you will find a remote-controlled electric fireplace with optional heat, high speed wi-fi and a 50-inch smart TV. Prefer a book? The front porch room is filled with light and a twin daybed with trundle includes a mountain of pillows to sink into while you dive into your next novel.

Across the room is a coffee bar complete with a Keurig, k-cups, various selections of teas and a variety of family-friendly board games. Lastly, a fully-stocked kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, filtered tap water and ice and complimentary bottled water await you upon your arrival.

You are welcomed to the second floor with plush spa bathrobes in each bedroom, lush memory-foam OEKO-TEX standard 100-certified mattresses and crisp linens, along with the latest technology of a digital thermostat (mini-split) to control the coolness and comfort level in each bedroom. Personal spa amenities in the bathroom such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion add to your relaxation level at Silver Maple Cottage.

The cottage sits on almost 1/4 acre and boasts a fully-enclosed and private yard with a cedar privacy fence. Embrace the outdoor space at any time of the day. Have your morning coffee/tea on the deck, enjoy the afternoon shade of the large silver maple tree – the cottage namesake – and in the evening, gather around the fire pit for some s’mores.

Additionally, it is required to utilize stairs to enter the cottage (front and/or side entrance) as well as a staircase to access the 2 bedrooms and full bathroom on the 2nd floor. We are making you aware as the staircase leading to the 2nd floor may be a challenge to our guests who may have mobility issues.

Hi! Welcome to our listing! I'm a native of northern Illinois and spent many summers as a camp counselor at Wesley Woods Camp & Conference Center for sailing camp on Geneva Lake. The Lake is my home away from home and brings such a sense of peace and serenity. My family embarked on the journey of creating our vacation cottage not only as a place for our family to get away from it all, but also as a place of respite for all family and friends who visit.
