Get away from it all in our Shepherd's Hut, in your own secluded clearing across the field at Ford Farm; overlooking our field and woodland. Enjoy relaxing in your wood fired hot tub, whilst listening to the sounds of nature or star gazing at the Devon night sky.

The space
Our Shepherd's hut is fully self contained with a fold down comfy double bed, en-suite shower room and flushing loo. There's a small kitchen area, double gas hob and small fridge. Complimentary bedding and towels are provided, as are utensils, pans, knives, cutlery, cups and glasses in the kitchen area. The log burner will keep you extra cozy. There’s a BBQ in the outdoor kitchen for your private use too.

Guest access
You’ll have a parking area near a barn; and a short walk across the field to Buzzard Shepherd’s hut. Good footwear is a benefit, especially if it’s wet. We provide a wheelbarrow to help get your bits and pieces across to the hut.

Other things to note
Unfortunately we don’t allow dogs at The Shepherd’s Hut.

We are rural! We have a couple of small local shops, but if you want specific food and drink supplies, you may want to bring a little with you.

I'd love to welcome you with my husband Angus, to Twin Oaks Glamping with just two secluded accommodations. We have ‘Buzzard' Shepherd's Hut & ‘Swallow’, our 5 meter belle tent. They are each set in their own peaceful field, set in our non-working 18 acre farm, which we bought a couple of years ago to begin restoring to its former glory. With the Eggesford Forest on our doorstep there is country side and walks to enjoy. A little further afield is Exmore and the North Devon Coast, which we love to explore too.
