Here is beautiful nature and a harmonious environment suitable for rest. The sauna has traditionally been a sacred place for Estonians, which guarantees a clean body and a rested spirit. Our special wood-burning heater provides a mild effect on the right heating, which has brought a lot of positive feedback. The sauna house has all the amenities you need for an overnight stay.

For active recreation enthusiasts, we offer the possibility to rent canoes and kayaks.

The space
Outside of the sauna house there is a comfortable terrace and next to it there is a canopy, where you can sit and enjoy the nature. There is a boat bridge for jumping and swimming in the river, and fire can be made at the campfire in windy weather.

Other things to note
We can rent canoes and kayaks. Please let us know before you arrive. Canoe can accommodate 2-3 people, kayaks are single seat. We also have life jackets and paddles. The canoes are heavy, you need at least two people to move them. Canoe rental costs €20/day, kayak rental €10/day.

Grill rental €5 (BBQ charcoal can be obtained from the local store).

We recommend exploring the Halliste River and the protected Kosemäe Forest, which is located nearby and known as a biodiversity sanctuary.

The price of the accommodation also includes sauna trees, but you can buy more trees if needed. Hate may be used in the sauna and can be purchased on site (€5).

The sauna house is located on the riverbank, it's in a walking distance from the village centre and the village shop. The visit can be combined with a canoe trip, for example, or you can go to the forest to pick mushrooms and berries at a convenient time.

Viljandi is about 30 minutes away and Pärnu is about 60 minutes away. You can drive from Kanaküla to Soomaa National Park and its visitor centre.
