Sandy Toes blends peace and tranquility with the convenience of being a stone’s throw from a beautiful sandy beach, waterside bistro/bar, 65 acres of woodland and direct access to the South West Coast Path.
Located on the lowest level of Millendreath's hillside, Sandy Toes is one of the most accessible villas onsite and perfect for guests of all ages.
Just 7 small steps with handrail take you from the quiet access road to your private decking area, which is elevated and fully-enclosed to provide privacy and stunning views towards the sea and across the surrounding woodland.
Once inside the villa, all of accommodation is situated on one level and is presented to a high standard throughout, with two double bedrooms sleeping up to 5 guests; an open-plan lounge/dining area and kitchen; modern shower room with large walk-in shower and an internal hallway with storage.
All of the accommodation is thoughtfully decorated and equipped with comfy furnishings and modern conveniences, including a Smart TV, dishwasher, digitally-controlled electric radiators, USB charging plugs and free wifi.
All utilities/electric and bedding are included in the cost of your stay. *Please bring your own towels.
Full-height windows flood both the main living area and master bedroom with light and overlook the private raised decking, surrounding woodland and sea beyond.
Both bedrooms have a built-in wardrobe with drawers. In the master bedroom there is a double bed and the second bedroom has a triple bunk with full-size double bed and a single bed above, providing a versatile option for families.
The large outside decked area is the perfect place to start and finish your day - whether that’s a morning coffee while listening to the birds and sea or a spot of al fresco dining in the evening while watching the sun set.
Prefer not to cook? Then the onsite Beach Shack at Millendreath Beach has this covered, serving delicious meals, cakes and drinks. There's also an onsite takeaway and cocktail bar (opening days/times vary by season).
Millendreath’s sandy beach, a 2-minute walk from Sandy Toes, is south-facing and nestled in a sheltered cove, providing a lovely spot to swim, sunbathe and enjoy watersports.
From here there’s direct access to the coast path, leading to beautiful locations such as Looe, a charming harbour town with lots of independent shops; places to eat and the setting for hit BBC series Beyond Paradise, which can be reached on foot in around 30 minutes.
Sandy Toes is a great base for exploring all that South East Cornwall has to offer. Fancy venturing further, then the car ferry from Polperro (about a 25 minute drive away) will take you to picturesque Fowey, from where Mevegissey and ‘Poldark country’ Charlestown are just some of the places within easy reach.
