The space
The water from the tap is excellent and drinkable, so you don't have to bring bottled water.
Ruka's ski track 15km from Lammintuva. The lake is also usually circled by a traditional ski track for skiing.
Six river fishing waters and great hiking terrain with fire pits nearby.
Guests have access to a canoe and rowing boats in the summer. In the winter, two sets of snowshoes and one set of old forest skis, as well as a pair of sleds. Jogging free, as well as ice fishing and drilling, also available. Cottage bikes can be found in the barn.
The kitchen is fully stocked. The children's room has a rich toy supply and drawing equipment.
Our old farmhouse has been slowly renovated and added to the traditional style of modern conveniences. The log walls are visible from the inside and are extra insulated and wind shielded on the outside. The house is odorless and healthy. The cottage has WIFI connection.
The main building has a kitchen, two bedrooms, a toilet/bathroom (hot shower), a hallway, and a refrigerator.
Sleeping places in the second bedroom are a double bed, and the second bedroom has separate mattress beds that can also be moved side by side. The second bedroom also has a children's bed and a loft bed for young people. A children's travel crib is available for smaller people. In addition to the bedrooms, there are two wooden beds (“germ box”) and a couch.
There is a yard sauna and a fireplace room between the main building and the barn building. In the summer, the bath water can be obtained from the well by a pump, and in the winter, the water is carried inside. The water is heated in the pot of the stove. The second sauna on the beach will be ready for use in the summer of 2026. In summer, water for the lakeside sauna is taken from the lake. In winter, the sauna is not available due to the water supply.
There is also a campfire area and a dock on the beach.
The main building has electric heating with wall radiators and in the bathroom, in addition to underfloor heating. The temperature can be raised before the stay with a remote-controlled air heat pump. Electric radiators and an air source heat pump make sure the cottage doesn't get cold. Fireplaces give you atmospheric extra warmth if you like. However, the FIREPLACES in the MAIN HOUSE may not be used if there is no previous experience using the fireplaces (if necessary, please ask the host for more information).
Electric vehicle charging is possible from a high-voltage outlet with your own charging cable. Charging fee based on usage.
Pillows and blankets can be found for six.
Guests must bring their own sheets and towels. If it is not possible to bring your own, bed linens can be provided for an additional fee of €15/person, or €20/person with duvet covers. Please order these separately before you arrive.
You can do the final cleaning yourself according to the instructions in the cabin folder, and in that case, we will not charge a cleaning fee. A cleaning fee of €350 must be charged for negligence.
Final cleaning can be ordered as an additional service through us at a cost of €70 – €350, depending on the level of cleanliness required. Price if left in basic condition: €70. Cleaning should be ordered well in advance.
Guest access
The guest has access to the entire accommodation building as well as an excellent yard sauna and a fireplace room. There is also another sauna on the beach. You can walk to the beach along the edge of the field, following the lamp posts. In winter, the route is usually snowmobile-groomed.
