This property has natural beauty with 100’ of private walk-in RIVER ACCESS and CLIFF VIEW with occasional goats. 30X35 ft PARTY PAD patio with fireplace, party & disco lights, swinging bar seats. HUGE YARD with multiple activities (horseshoes, hammocks, swings, etc). Sleeps 14 total. MAIN HOUSE sleeps 10. BUNKHOUSE sleeps 4. Extra touches make this spot fun for vacationers. This property is spacious, stylish and fresh. Quick access to Gruene, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels.
The space
There are 4 parts to this unique river access property and all are included with your rental. In total, it sleeps 14 (main house sleeps 10, bunk house sleeps 4). Please fully understand the sleeping arrangements before booking. This is private property and everything on it is just for YOU and your guests only...

Main House:
Bedroom 1 has a king bed and full bathroom attached and small patio. This room is also known as the "Sunshine" Room.
Bedroom 2 has a king bed. This room is known as the purple room
Bedroom 3 is a bunk room. All beds in this room are custom built-in as bunks (see pics). It contains 5 twin beds and 1 queen bed. This bunkroom also has a TV, extra fridge, mini-split AC unit, and sitting area.
Bathrooms: One full bathroom located in the hall. One bathroom attached to the master bedroom/Sunshine room.
Kitchen: A custom built island that seats 8 people. Open shelves make finding your cooking utensils easy. Fully stocked with plates, glasses, pots, pans, toaster, coffee supplies, blender, wine glasses, full size fridge, microwave, etc
Bunk House:
Sleeps 4-6: All beds in this house are custom built in bunks (2 twin beds over 2 queen beds). This cozy space has a walk-in shower, toilet, sink, microwave, coffee maker, TV, mini fridge, mini-split AC unit, and front porch sitting area.
Outdoor Patio Area: AKA Party Pad:
This is a covered 30x35 foot concrete pavilion with built in wood fireplace, moveable patio furniture, TV, sink, wine barrel tables, rope swings with pecan bar seating overlooking the river and cliff, old fashioned porch swing, charcoal grill, over sized ceiling fans, and lighting. Create any mood by choosing to use the white string lights or colorful disco lights.
Outhouse: A few steps away from the Party Pad is a detached custom outhouse with a German flare. If you party, you need to pee! Inside you will find a fully plumbed beer keg urinal, a traditional potty, mirror and sink.
Backyard and Guadalupe River:
The large yard from the house to the river offers horseshoe pits, cornhole, hammock swings, tetherball, volleyball, fire pit and 100+ feet of walk-in river frontage all with cliff views. Keep an eye on the cliffs for the wild goats. They are frequently heard and seen crossing through.
NOTE:
The houses and Party Pad are fenced and there are 2 security cameras for your safety. One points to the gated entrance, the other points to the back gate towards the river.
During the off season, our space is very popular for trout fishing. Texas Parks and Wildlife stock the Guadalupe River with trout in November. The off season offers a very peaceful and tranquil vibe. During the summer season, our space is popular for tubing/kayaking the river. The vibe during the summer is fun and exciting. Lots of people soak up the sun, floating/kayaking down the river. Be part of the river excitement by putting a chair in the water at the rivers edge or retreat at the top of the property for your own private getaway on the Party Pad.
Our guests find it super convenient that they can walk next door and schedule their river trips. Our neighbor, Gypsy River Resort, offers tube/kayak rentals and shuttle rides up river for different lengths of floats. They also have a small convenient store if you forgot any necessities. Check their website for availability and float times. All businesses on River Road and the surrounding area have seasonal hours, so please check availability ahead of time.

We do not provide water safety gear. 3) We do not offer baby/toddler/child items such as highchairs, Pack N Plays, etc. If you need these types of items you must bring them. 4) Unsupervised children may (and have) caused unexpected property damage resulting in guests paying additional monies. Please watch over your children.

Neighborhood highlights
Rusty Rock River Getaway is in the middle of River Road between New Braunfels and Sattler, on one of the best spots of the Guadalupe River. Neighbors to the left are private residences that offer short term rentals. Our neighbor to the right is Gypsy River Resort offering tube & kayak rentals, RV and camping spots. They offer shuttle rides up river so if you want to tube or kayak, just walk next door. Koozies Ice House is walking distance. Koozies is a neat place to grab a burger, drinks, play cornhole, or listen to some music and they are kid friendly. Neighbor across the street is a private residence. Across the river is a large cliff. River Road is a popular road for cruising motorcycles, classic cars, jeeps, or biking. New Braunfels and Gruene are just a few minutes south down River Rd. Canyon Lake and Sattler are just a few minutes north. Check out the guide book or simply surf the web to check out the many local attractions.
