We’re a bit “extra” in the kitchen & dining room
Here at Vacation Concan, we pride ourselves on overdoing it in the kitchen when it comes to appliances, so bring on the chili competition, we have a Crock-pot waiting. Make your world-famous margaritas in our Margaritaville Blender. Pour the coffee from a pot or with the Keurig. Our kitchen is yours.
And you can seat everyone at once in the dining area! With barstool seating and a large dining table, you don't have to perch on the edge of the furniture while trying to keep everyone together at meal times.
All leather living room
Large leather sofas are pulled up around the ornamental fireplace and a large screen TV, making movie nights a must. Be sure to bring your streaming devices…because while we have super fast WiFi, there is no cable connection. We also have a few boardgames on hand for making the most of your time together.
Peaceful patio and yard
Welcome to the place you won’t want to leave….the back patio. The BBQ pit is ready to take on your brisket or your veggies, along with a firepit for the purists who just want a hot dog crisped on an open flame. Bringing a bit of the inside outside, you can watch the game on our outdoor flat screen while lounging on the comfy outdoor furniture.

Not only do we have all your favorites like washers, cornhole, and horseshoes…we have a volleyball/badminton net as well. Winner doesn’t have to do the dishes?
Evenings at the Rusty Cactus
When the sun starts to dip below the horizon, you can turn on the fairy lights in the yard to keep the games and the good times going. You might even see a few of the curious deer, the namesake of Deer Run, poke their heads into the yard to see what you are up to.
Pool Adjacent
While the Rusty Cactus is cute and stylish, it doesn’t have a pool. But you can use the River Oaks Resort Pool & Splashpad, just a few minutes walk from the cabin. There are also nearby hiking trails, mini-golf, and more. But wouldn’t you rather be on the Frio?

Because you book with us, you get free access to the Frio River at Gravel Bar/7Bluffs. When you check in with our management team Concan VIP, they’ll give you your passes. They also have some other perks and discounts in store for you so that you can truly enjoy everything that Concan has to offer.

Our management team will be happy to supply you with a full list of house rules but as a heads up…
Absolutely NO PETS. ZERO EXCEPTIONS.
We have smoking areas, exterior to the home, that will keep fire risk low, please use those if needed.
The renter must be at least 25 years of age and sign the rental agreement before confirming your rental.
CHECK-IN IS LOCATED NEAR ANDY'S ON RIVER ROAD!
This home is managed by Concan VIP Property Management, LLC. Our office is the little white building around the back.
The guest who made the reservation will be required to check in and provide a current driver's license and 2 credit cards to have on file plus sign the VIP Rental Agreement. Please keep in mind that even if booked through VRBO you still will have to provide a copy of D/L, 2 CREDIT CARDS, and sign VIP Rental Agreement. This rental agreement includes asking for contact information during your stay (email and phone number). This information will never be used for marketing purposes without your expressed permission.

The guest that made reservation will be required to check in and provide current drivers license's and 2 credit card to have on file plus sign VIP Rental Agreement. Please keep in mind even if booked through Airbnb you still will have to provide copy of D/l, 2 CREDIT CARDS, and sign VIP Rental Agreement.
We do have cameras on the back patio and front door (2). They are motion-triggered and do not record sound. They are in place to protect our property from vandalism to the building, the outdoor equipment, and the pool equipment. They protect both our guests and ourselves from any misunderstandings
*We will start your stay off with 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels and a trash bag in each trash can. If you think you will need more please pack accordingly.*
