Located 10 min from the beach in peaceful Sanur, Rumah Muntir is a cozy, home-themed coworking space that welcomes local and international creatives. If you’re seeking a supportive community to brainstorm, focus, or collaborate with, this could be the right fit.

The space features traditional Indonesian architecture with several bedrooms, coworking spaces, a peaceful garden, thriving pond, and shared kitchen.

We aim to select respectful tenants who enjoy sharing meals, ideas and stories.

The space
- Please note that although Sanur is a very peaceful neighborhood, we have a karaoke bar next door which creates a lively evening ambiance. If you are sensitive to noise, please bring headphones/earplugs.

- The property is home to short and long term tenants, as well as a few cats, a turtle, and fish in our pond.

- My elderly parents stop by on occasion to assist with home improvement projects. My father is the architect:)

- Daily meals are not provided, but there are often opportunities to cook together and share meals.

-The house has an open floor plan for fresh airflow. Note that due to the open design and being located in Bali, you will inevitably see critters in the home. Geckos help control the indoor bugs, but mosquitoes are still common. We recommend bringing bug spray.

- We employ local housekeepers and a gardener who will come once a week.

Guest access
You will have your own private bedroom that shares a bathroom with one other guest. The kitchen, living room, dining area, and garden are all shared spaces with open access for all members. Your bedroom has a lock you may use.

During your stay
In general, our tenants are enthusiastic about sustainability, networking, and tech literacy, and we aim to select respectful tenants who enjoy sharing meals and stories.

We host a variety of events that you’re welcome to join:

Educational game nights
Digital literacy circle
Shared meals
Basketball club
Coworking sessions
Music jams

There is also a group chat for the house and a Google Maps list for recommended food and local hangouts nearby.

Other things to note
A scooter may sometimes be available to rent.

Our family has additional rooms available in other properties and are connected locally if anyone wants to transition from staying short term to more long term accommodation.
