Welcome to Rose-Eh-Chalet. This spacious open concept A-frame cottage brags scenic views from every window and angle.
The space
Upon entering the cottage you will be welcomed by the natural light and beautiful surroundings that filter through the windows, and the feeling of spaciousness that embraces you. The modern kitchen has 3 stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, with easy access to the large deck for entertaining, BBQing and lounging. You're also steps away from the no motor, crystal clear limestone bottom lake.
The two bedrooms on the second level have a walkout onto a private balcony overlooking the lake. From here you can drink in the serenity of your surroundings while sipping your morning coffee, or afternoon wine. You'll experience the spa-like shower, with natural pebble flooring, a large size rain head shower, and a view of the woods. Winding your way up to the third floor, you will delight in a trendy, IG-able loft with tonnes of swagger. It's a great place to chill!
Lazy days or busy days, that's your decision, but we're just a short 15 minute drive to the town of Bancroft where there are breweries, restaurants, mines, fishing, and hiking trails to be explored and experienced. Or, just stay put and enjoy all that the cottage has to offer, including watercraft (canoe, kayaks, peddle boat), fantastic fishing, lakeside fire pit, games, record player and books.
Our guess is that you'll leave this dreamy oasis lighter than you came because at Rose-Eh we don't recycle stress, we bury it.

You'll be able to access our entire property. We ask guests to keep dogs on leash and not allow them to roam onto the neighbours property. Please only park in our designated parking area.
Other things to note
Property Access & Terrain:
While we would love to host everyone, this property may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges.
Guests must walk down a steep driveway to access the cottage. Parking is located at the top of the driveway.
Spring, Summer & Fall: AWD or 4x4 vehicles may be able to access the driveway
All seasons: A wagon and sleigh is provided to help transport items from vehicles
Please note that the terrain around the property is uneven and rocky, and guests should use caution when walking outdoors.
Winter Stays & Access:
During winter months, there is no vehicle access down the driveway. All guests must park at the top and walk down the steep driveway to reach the cottage.
This is a rural cottage property and winter conditions can vary. Snow, ice, and freezing temperatures may affect the driveway, access road, and surrounding grounds. Despite regular snow removal and sanding, surfaces may be slippery.
Winter tires are strongly recommended, and AWD or 4x4 vehicles are advised for winter driving. Guests should be comfortable driving in winter conditions and navigating hills and icy terrain.
Guests are responsible for:
-Wearing appropriate winter footwear with traction
-Using caution when walking or driving
-Supervising children outdoors at all times
-Assessing whether conditions are suitable for their comfort and ability
Guests who are not comfortable with winter driving, sloped access, or icy conditions may find this property unsuitable during winter months.
By booking and staying at the property, guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with winter weather and rural access.

Garbage & Recycling:
Guests are responsible for removing all garbage and recycling at the end of their stay and placing in the green bear bin behind the cottage.

We do have neighbours on either side of the property. While the cottage is heavily treed and private, you may occasionally see neighbours on their docks — feel free to wave hello.
We kindly ask that guests respect neighbouring properties and maintain reasonable noise levels during their stay.
