Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bancroft

Our stay at Addie's cottage was delightful. The place was clean, well-furnished, and equipped with all the necessary utensils. Both hot and cold water pressure was excellent, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. The bedrooms were tidy and comfortable. Addie proved to be very responsive and helpful, enhancing our experience. However, we encountered a few minor issues: 1) We discovered and eliminated several small cockroaches in the kitchen, particularly around the garbage cabinet. 2) The dining chairs were deteriorating, leaving lots of tiny pieces on our clothing when we used them. 3) The non-functional hot tub was a surprise upon arrival. Although mentioned in the listing, we missed it and so suggest making it more prominent, perhaps in the title, as the photos and description led us to expect a working hot tub. This could also be Airbnb's fault, since I specifically selected the "hot tub" option during my search, clearly indicating a preference for a property with a working hot tub.

Our weekend away at Renee’s place was amazing. It was private, had great views and plenty to do. The bottom floor had a lot of games that kept us entertained. Would definitely consider visiting again.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s cottage! She reached out ahead of time to provide great recommendations and very clear instructions for check-in and anything we needed throughout our stay! She was very responsive and friendly to interact with. The cottage was perfect! The beds were very comfortable. We loved being right on the water while having multiple areas to sit and read a book/ visit. The tree swing in the water was a nice touch great for photos! We took the provided kayaks, paddle boards & pedal boat out one afternoon to explore a sand bar not too far from the cottage that Lisa recommended which was lovely! Thank you to Lisa, I recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice getaway by the water with friends or family!

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I spent Christmas at Michelle’s lovely cottage and we had a great time! The cottage itself is very nice and cozy; in person, it looks even better than in pictures. It had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub is a must as it has an amazing view of the lake; and we also enjoyed a little walk around with snowshoes available at the cottage. The host, Michelle, was very kind and responsive. She had the cottage decorated for Christmas, which was perfect for our gathering and created a very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely consider going back during summer as the place has many in-the-house amenities and private access to the lake. Thank you, Michelle, for hosting us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorie's cottage! The cottage was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Despite the first two days being cold and rainy, we had a fantastic time indoors, spending quality time with our kids playing board games and doing puzzles. Once the weather improved, we took full advantage of the lake. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved having access to kayaks, a pedal boat, and paddle boards. It's the ideal place for a peaceful escape, and we would highly recommend Lorie's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

I came to this beautiful spot with my wife and five-year-old son in September. Our cottage was perfect for what we needed -- and we all appreciated the AC and hot shower! Our son had a blast playing on the playground, the beach, and activity room. He cried when it was time to leave! We all enjoyed the beautiful lake and the different water toys available, in particular the stand-up paddleboards. My wife and I had never used those before and had a ball! As huge Tragically Hip fans, we loved the various nods to the Hip on the property. Bobcaygeon itself is incredibly charming. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and it was terrific value for money. I'd recommend this to anyone and hope to return soon with some friends. Thanks for such a fantastic family experience!

I was looking for a quiet and cozy place to escape to for a few days in middle of the winter where I could sit by a fire, write and relax. Stephen’s cottage went beyond what is listed. The decor and details are part of the charm. The place is a gem from top to bottom. Clean, well stocked and updated with many thoughtful experiences from family games and videos that would make BlockBuster proud. Older generations would understand. Stephen was always very prompt answering any questions before my stay and while I was there. He is a gracious host and it shows with everything that he has thoughtful included in the rental of this amazing four season cottage. We look forward to our next visit.

Amazing Winter Stay. We had a fantastic stay at this cottage.The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The cottage was spotless and already warmed up for us when we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. The firewood provided was amazing, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with the lake right in front of the cottage, covered in snow a stunning view.We even enjoyed ice fishing, which was such a memorable experience. The maintenance team nearby was also very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back especially in the winter!

We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of storage available if you are staying for any length of time. The perfect place to stay with a family. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cedar Canoe Cottage! The cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring on the kayaks, paddle board and canoe.

fantastic little cabin. everything was as described and/or pictured. entry was easy peasy, comfy bed, comfy furniture with absolutely everything we needed to cook all weekend long. warm and cozy with the fireplace even on the one very cold night that happened while there. great place for our getaway to relax and enjoy. didn't make our way into the trails, but Desmond had plenty of recommendations that were close by along with some further into Algonquin that we hope to try on a future visit. thank you for providing a great place to unwind and relax for the weekend!

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

we books with Zac And steph the day of our check in, middle of February in the middle of heavy snow fall. Zac And steph made sure the place was heated, clean and snow cleared. amazing response from Zac And steph. and above all the cabin was perfect. nice quiet, peaceful with all the necessities plus a few luxuries. we explored the nice trails, cooked on the fire and just enjoyed the outdoors. I can't wait to come back.

We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend at Krista's bunkie. It was so warm and cozy, a perfect place to hunker down over a snow stormy weekend. Krista was very friendly and responsive, she reached out a couple times throughout our stay to ensure all was well and to see if we needed anything. The bunkie is fully stocked with all the essentials you'd need(paper towels,Kleenex,salt,pepper,olive oil etc.)and is super homey. Overall, super peaceful and relaxing stay- Highly recommend!

Best cabin-in-the-woods weekend ever! Perfect spot for hiking, kayaking, movie watching, and board games. Bill went above and beyond to make the trip go smoothly.

I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.

This was our first time using an Airbnb. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at this place. I would for sure book this place again. We went with my parents who are older so getting down to the water for them was a little bit difficult. Our dog loved it lots of space for her to run around. Thinking we need to go in the fall for sure the leaves would be beautiful.
