Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bancroft

Our stay at Addie's cottage was delightful. The place was clean, well-furnished, and equipped with all the necessary utensils. Both hot and cold water pressure was excellent, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. The bedrooms were tidy and comfortable. Addie proved to be very responsive and helpful, enhancing our experience. However, we encountered a few minor issues: 1) We discovered and eliminated several small cockroaches in the kitchen, particularly around the garbage cabinet. 2) The dining chairs were deteriorating, leaving lots of tiny pieces on our clothing when we used them. 3) The non-functional hot tub was a surprise upon arrival. Although mentioned in the listing, we missed it and so suggest making it more prominent, perhaps in the title, as the photos and description led us to expect a working hot tub. This could also be Airbnb's fault, since I specifically selected the "hot tub" option during my search, clearly indicating a preference for a property with a working hot tub.

We had an amazing stay at Renee and Marco's cottage by Rice Lake. The highlight was definitely the dock; it was fantastic to wake up to the serene view each morning and equally enjoyable to relax on at night. The cottage was close to local spots where we could easily rent a boat for some great fishing adventures. Renee and Marco were wonderful hosts, incredibly accommodating and always ready to help. This spot truly had everything for a peaceful getaway (especially from downtown Toronto).

It was a wonderful visit. Location is idyllic and peaceful on the lake. Home is cozy and perfect for relaxing. I had a great time just being there and enjoying the environment. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s cottage! She reached out ahead of time to provide great recommendations and very clear instructions for check-in and anything we needed throughout our stay! She was very responsive and friendly to interact with. The cottage was perfect! The beds were very comfortable. We loved being right on the water while having multiple areas to sit and read a book/ visit. The tree swing in the water was a nice touch great for photos! We took the provided kayaks, paddle boards & pedal boat out one afternoon to explore a sand bar not too far from the cottage that Lisa recommended which was lovely! Thank you to Lisa, I recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice getaway by the water with friends or family!

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

I recently stayed at Peng's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a serene ambiance that made our stay incredibly relaxing. What truly stood out was Peng's hospitality. We had a last-minute change in our guest list, and Peng was more than accommodating, making the adjustments seamlessly. Moreover, when we encountered a minor issue with a beeping appliance, Peng personally came over to fix it right away, ensuring our comfort was never compromised. I highly recommend staying at Peng's place for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-hosted experience.

We had a great weekend with our group. Cottage is beautiful and well kept. Hosts are accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that you enjoy your stay. Would bring my family here every year if only they allowed dogs. Will be booking again!

I came to this beautiful spot with my wife and five-year-old son in September. Our cottage was perfect for what we needed -- and we all appreciated the AC and hot shower! Our son had a blast playing on the playground, the beach, and activity room. He cried when it was time to leave! We all enjoyed the beautiful lake and the different water toys available, in particular the stand-up paddleboards. My wife and I had never used those before and had a ball! As huge Tragically Hip fans, we loved the various nods to the Hip on the property. Bobcaygeon itself is incredibly charming. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and it was terrific value for money. I'd recommend this to anyone and hope to return soon with some friends. Thanks for such a fantastic family experience!

Jaan & Nithya’s place is a perfect abode for someone who’s looking for a quiet, private place to relax but also wants to enjoy waterfront benefits since they have ample kayaks for the guests. Moreover, I loved the location because it’s just a few minutes drive from the Fenelon Falls town, if you want to go for some grocery or to explore the town. Amenities were as mentioned except that they don’t provide soap, shampoo and conditioner, and oil so one must not forget to bring from their home. Also, they kept enough stuff to entertain yourself such as pingpong table, bbq stove, trampoline and ofcourse the kayaks. Lastly, we enjoyed our stay and would return sometime in future.

We had a great stay at the cabin. The property was beautiful and there was plenty to do inside and out. The cabin was very comfortable and warm despite cooler temps outside. The availability of EV charging was a bonus. We would definitely return again!

The cottage was beyond beautiful, especially during a snowstorm! It was the definition of a winter wonderland. The place being heated by a traditional wood fireplace (with plenty of firewood provided) added to the magic of the stay but be prepared for cold temperatures until the cottage does warm up fully. It's private, with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding trees. I can only imagine how great this cottage is during the summer season with the lake front and hope to be back here to canoe and take full advantage of the amazing backyard. The cabin was bigger than expected. Nice touch of old home and updated appliances. The view is incredible.

We stayed at Adam’s place during the first week of September for a family vacation, and it was wonderful! The house had everything we needed, and we especially enjoyed the kayaking, canoeing, hot tub, and fishing. The space was clean and well-maintained, and we were so happy with the overall experience. One small note—it says shampoo, conditioner, and towels are offered, I still recommend bringing your own. Thank you, Adam, for sharing such an amazing and beautiful space!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cedar Canoe Cottage! The cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring on the kayaks, paddle board and canoe.

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

The cabin was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We brought plenty of supplies but ended up not using them because the cabin had it all. The nature was breathtaking, and we felt completely isolated and undisturbed, just as we had expected. We’ll definitely visit again, both in winter and summer. 10/10

We had a wonderful getaway at this cabin. The host had it decorated for the holidays with a tree, stockings, and Christmas dvds & music. Appreciated that they provided the wood. It was a perfect little spot for 2 (plus our dog) to rest and recharge by a snowy lake.

Best cabin-in-the-woods weekend ever! Perfect spot for hiking, kayaking, movie watching, and board games. Bill went above and beyond to make the trip go smoothly.

I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.
