Our campsite is unique because it's an exclusive hire site, so just you!

Stay in one of our amazing 21ft Tipi and enjoy breath taking views of the North Downs in Kent.

Expect hot showers, compost loo and a covered poly kitchen/diner. Also a visit from our very cheeky cats.

TIPI SLEEPS 5 AS STANDARD 2 ADULTS & 3 KIDS
Book the tipi and contact us to add a second to extend to your group.

The site is home to REBEL FARMER . Committed to NO-DIG, sustainable growing of plants, veg and flowers.

The space
The most unique thing about our site is it will be all yours. We take just one reservation at a time so you can book one tipi and the site is yours.

Additionally, you can also contact us to add our second tipi at a reduced rate and bring friends or extended family.

To book more than one tent, please book one tipi to secure the site, then contact us and we can arrange for the additional tent which is charged at £99 a night.

However, if you are a large group of adults, please contact us prior to booking as we do not allow stag/hen parties without arrangement due to the location and facilities.

Please note the design of the tipi means the door is low. To enter it you will need to be happy to crawl in.

We are in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and surrounded by brilliant places to explore. We are a walk to the wonderful Devils Kneeding Trough with amazing views across Kent to the coast and France on a good day!

The nearest beach is lovely Hythe which is about 20 minutes drive. We are also within 35 minutes of Folkestone, Dover, Deal, Whitstable, Broadstairs and Margate.

Sissinghurst is a must and can be reached within about 40 mins. Leeds Castle and other great houses and gardens such as Great Dixter can be reached with 30 minutes. Port Lymne Zoo (well more of a safari park) is about 15 minutes from us and is an absolute treat for the kids, especially seeing the giraffe roaming around the Kent countryside.

Great eating can be found locally at Boys Hall, The Tiger in Stowting (Kent Pub of the Year) or New Flying Horse in Wye.

A bit further afield is Rocksalt fish restaurant at Folkestone and The Pig at Bridge, both of which are well worth the 20/25 minute drive. Book first though!

ABOUT REBEL FARMER
Rebel Farmer is a plantsman and market gardener. If you are interested in knowing more he does offer courses on growing ethically. Do ask if interested in one of his growing workshops.

We have sometimes have veg and salad which you can buy from us and will come straight from the plot. Just let us know.

FACILITIES ON SITE
There are no hidden extras at Rebel Farmer. Logs are included in the price as are the coals for the BBQ. For cooking we have a Webber BBQ, plus in the poly kitchen a kettle, microwave and hob. Also a fridge.

We have a shower and compost loo housed in a new block. Both are private and for the sole use of our tipi guests.

We will set you up with a large campfire on the field, the cost of a standard bag of logs per night is included in the price.

Guest access
A booking means exclusive-use of our almost 2 acre field. Plus all facilities including compost toilet, camp shower, covered kitchen and dining area, camp fire and BBQ.

The site has its own private entrance through a gate at the bottom of the field and parking in the the summer months can be wherever suits you on the field. In wet weather a gravel track leads to a parking spot.

The owners live next door, so can easily be on hand to fix any issues or give advice on local attractions.

A welcome pack is provided at the point of booking.

Other things to note
We recommend extra warm clothes for the evenings and slippers for the tipi.

Please note we have 3 super friendly cats on site so if you're not a fan be aware they will want to make friends with you and potentially pop into your tent. Please do not feed them as they are on a special healthy diet.

Because there are so many animals here and next door - sorry we do not allow dogs.

..and finally we take your safety very seriously so.. if excessive winds are forecast we may as a last resort postpone your trip. We will always offer you alternate dates free of charge.

Neighborhood highlights

In the lovely village of Brook at the foot of the North Downs.

The village is home to an agricultural museum we also have an excellent children’s playground with football pitch.

Brook Church is particularly historic. Dating back to the 11th Century the inside holds hidden gems. 13th Century wall paintings and amazing 14th Century floor tiles are viewed as some of the finest in the country.

In nearby Wye there’s a wonderful collection of shops as well as a Co-op. There’s a great farmers market in Wye every first and third Saturday of the month from 9-12. Also check out Perry Court Farm for great grocery shopping.

For petrol head to Tesco’s which is 5 minutes drive.

Hythe Rd, Willesborough, Ashford TN24 0YE

We are also just 20 minutes drive from the beach...

Lives in England, United Kingdom
We left London for Kent 7 years ago thinking about cleaner living. Now we have a homestead on the North Down’s AONB. We run a small campsite taking in one reservation at a time, so it's super private for visitors. You can book 1, 2 or all 3 tents but regardless of what you book, the site is all yours. We also host workshops and events. Our business Rebel Farmer grows chemical free produce. We believe in small scale regenerative agriculture.
