The space
Discover the Randolph Pool House — a brand-new, fully renovated coastal retreat in the heart of Douglas, Michigan. Just blocks from downtown, a short walk to Saugatuck, and less than a mile to Lake Michigan’s sugar-sand beaches, this one-of-a-kind home blends laid-back luxury with modern design.
Sleeping up to 18 guests across seven beautifully appointed bedrooms, Randolph Pool House is the only newly renovated vacation rental in the Douglas/Saugatuck area featuring a private heated in-ground pool (available Memorial Day through early fall).
Step inside and feel the openness — a bright, flowing floor plan connects the chef’s kitchen, dining area, and cozy living spaces, all designed for gathering and unwinding together. The kitchen is the true centerpiece: a 10-foot quartz island anchors the room, surrounded by high-end stainless steel appliances, two dishwashers, a beverage fridge, and a coffee station with both a Keurig and drip machine.
Beyond the kitchen, the dining area seats eight to ten comfortably and leads into a sun-filled living room with sectional sofas, smart TVs, and coastal décor. Walls of glass open to the sunroom and outdoor patio, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living.
Each of the seven bedrooms offers thoughtful comfort — plush bedding, ceiling fans, and smart TVs (in all but one). Five feature king beds, one a queen, and another two full bedss. The primary suite includes a private bath with a double vanity, walk-in shower, and direct access to the back deck.
The home includes 3.5 bathrooms, all newly renovated and stocked with premium toiletries, towels, and essentials.
Downstairs, a second living room offers another large TV and plenty of space to relax or watch a game together.
Outside, the fenced backyard invites you to make the most of summer days — enjoy the private pool, grill dinner on the charcoal BBQ, unwind around the fire pit in Adirondack chairs, or lounge on the deck with a drink in hand.
The pool is cleaned and treated twice weekly for weekly stays, and while heating is rarely needed, it can be arranged upon request.

Guest access
You’ll have the entire property to yourselves—every room, every cozy corner, and all the outdoor spaces, including the pool, deck, patio, and fully fenced backyard. Bring the whole crew—there’s plenty of room to park with 8 dedicated spaces right on-site, so everyone can come and go with ease.
Other things to note
The pool is open from Memorial Day to October 1st, with weekly rentals including professional cleaning and treatment twice—once just before your arrival and again midweek. For those cooler days or evening swims, you may want to heat the pool for the most enjoyable temperature. Pool heat is optional for $100/day and can be arranged a week before check-in. For safety, the pool fence must remain closed and locked at all times, and only registered guests are permitted to use the pool.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available—just inquire after booking. Please note that we require all guests to complete our rental agreement to finalize their reservation. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM, and no parties, events, smoking, or pets are allowed. Parking is only permitted in the designated spaces. Security cameras are located at the front of the home and overlooking the backyard pool area for safety.
