Vacation rentals with beach access in Douglas

Another wonderful weekend getaway at Stephaney's place. We love fishing off the pier, relaxing on the porch with the beautiful view of the lake, and the coziness of the cottage. Our pup is so happy to have room to run and swim. Great breweries and restaurants in neighboring towns. A highlight of our summer.

Colleen was on-point, friendly, and communicated every detail we needed to check in and when we checked out. The place was beautiful, modern appliances, clean, TV's everywhere, three bedrooms, and very firm mattresses, which suited me perfectly. Place was immaculate. Though located near the river in a somewhat industrial area, it's a nice 15 minute walk to the lake, and less to the restaurants and stores. Will come back!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

Great place for a weekend getaway. Very nice loft in a great location on the edge of downtown South Haven. Plenty of space with a very comfortable living room. Was pretty much perfect for our stay.

Upon arrival, there was some kind of misunderstanding with the cleaning people and it looked like our unit was not cleaned prior to arriving. We arrived pretty late but Michael responded very fast to my message and was able to get this taken care of right away for us. He was very accommodating and helpful. He sent multiple messages prior to the arrival date with helpful instructions on entering the unit and parking. The space itself was great and perfect for two people. Walking distance from the little downtown area and the river. We enjoyed our time in South Haven and would stay here again if we ever visited again!

Very beautiful place. Secluded and peaceful, perfect for a quiet weekend away. Has a cute little town not too far away with plenty of places to eat and activities to participate in. Would definitely come back!

Sameena was wonderful and extremely responsive. This was one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have been to. We had three toddlers with us and weren’t worried about the cleanliness of the floors, walls or surfaces. The very pleasant cleaning woman lives close by if anything comes up. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The only inconvenience is that there isn’t a washer and dryer in the home but there is one available to use down the street with clear instructions on how to get there. Overall this was a wonderful experience with plenty of space!

Great home with all the amenities, along with a great location across the street from the lake. We will certainly be looking to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful, colorful, creative, joyful space! Everything you'll need in cozy, peaceful surroundings. Enjoy a walk on the beach, fall asleep listening to the waves, read a book. This is a perfect place to escape.

So much fun! Much nicer than the pictures. We will definitely be coming back every year. My grandkids had so much fun fishing and kayaking and swimming it’s definitely a trip they will remember! So fun.

Kristine was an amazing host and so accommodating. We unfortunately were in town for a funeral and were inundated with a lot of moving parts and Kristine was understanding the whole time. Her home was exactly what we needed during a difficult time. It was warm, inviting and most of all clean. It also was a safe space to house three kids under the age of 4 - which is always a concern for me. I would recommend this home to anyone with children or who simply wants a home away from home!

Excellent weekend getaway! Right from the very beginning Jennifer was very responsive, and even helped navigate through a minor issue we had during our stay. Hey property has everything you possibly could need to feel right at home and keep everyone entertained! The backyard space was excellent with the fire pit, and just a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. Getting into town for restaurants was super quick too. I for sure will reach out to Jennifer the next time I'm looking to stay in South Haven!

We had an amazing stay at Amy’s place! The house was exactly as described – clean, spacious, and well-equipped. It was perfect for our family, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The host was incredibly welcoming and Amy made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Amy even texted twice during our stay to make sure our stay was going well. The location was great, right on Lake Michigan. The Lake changed everyday during our stay due to a winter storm. We loved spending time together in the cozy living spaces and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area. Highly recommend this spot for any family looking for a time away.

Michael’s place is a short walk away from stunning views of Lake Michigan. The space is clean and quiet and Michael was a friendly, responsive and thorough host. No detail was left out and he genuinely cared that our stay was a pleasant one. Thank you Michael!!

What a charming little house! We loved being able to walk to the beach or the restaurants in town in less than 10 minutes, but the house was on a quiet, peaceful street. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and it felt really homey. Lovely backyard too. And Anne couldn’t have been nicer or more responsive as a host. Would definitely return!

What an outstanding spot to enjoy the beauty of Saugatuck/Douglas! This charming condo, right on the river, offers a beautiful deck where you can watch the boats sail by and see some of the fun and music across the river, but still have your own private and quiet space. It's conveniently located next to the ferry, which runs every 15 minutes, making it easy to explore both sides of the river. The condo is fully equipped and also includes access to all the amenities and services of the adjacent Beachway Resort hotel. We actually worked remotely from the condo each day and then headed out for the day - wifi and seating was perfect for working remote, though perhaps only 1 zoom call at a time unless you can take one from the bedroom. The resort staff were excellent, but Kim's welcoming, proactive and responsive communication made us feel safe and right at home. We highly recommend this rental to anyone and look forward to returning soon!

Very cute, exactly like the description. Terrific location close to downtown Douglas, Saugatuck, and several absolutely stunning beaches. The only complaint I have is that there's a cleaning fee on top of a list of chores to do before you leave.

My husband & I rented this gem for a week. The condo is spotless, kitchen has many amenities, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and we loved it! We loved being right on the water/ beach and close to town. Highly recommend this adorable condo.

The place is super cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and the area is quiet and peaceful. I felt safe and right at home as I was here for an extended stay! I 100% recommend!

Very clean, super beautiful spot. The whole city is walkable and as pet friendly as Brenden's place. Though, Brenden set a new standard for me when it comes to communication and customer service. There was a freak gas outage for over 5500 homes and businesses this weekend. And, even though this was something that was completely out of their control, we were met with empathy and compassion. Knowing we were there for a wedding we were generously offered to shower at Brenden 's home.. And, even though it wasn't expected and they certainly didn't have to, Brenden refunded us some money for the inconvenience. To me, it says a lot about a person to do the right thing even when they don't have to. Long story, short...this is an amazing place to book with incredible customer service!

Steve was an amazing host to work with. There ended up being a gas leak that affected the first night of our stay and Steve was very communicative and made the process easy to get situated. The condo itself is very spacious and clean, and in a beautiful area. We are already thinking about coming back!

Very clean and comfortable rental that is in a great location. We enjoyed the pool and firepit that is right next to the condo. Jeanna is a great host and very responsive.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb! We hope to come stay here every year! It was beautiful, clean, organized, and comfortable. Paula went to extra measures to make us feel welcome with coffee pods, little snacks, shampoos, and lotions. Paula had little notes with instructions throughout the house to help with different house features that might be a challenge Which was so helpful! Paula was also extremely kind and understanding! We had to cut our trip short by one day due to a family death and she was very supportive and refunded us for that one day without any issues!
