This beautiful 3 Bed/2 Bath spacious, modern home offers a one-of-a kind immersion in natural beauty, with soaring 15 foot windows overlooking an acre of wooded dunes in a park-like setting less than two blocks from Lake Michigan. Soak in the giant tub for two with a massive window, overlooking the woods. The only sounds you’ll hear are birds, rustling leaves, and waves of Lake Michigan. Pups welcome!

The space
Your friends and family will enjoy 15 ft. tall windows with a spectacular view, modern well equipped kitchen, open living space, stone fire pit under the trees, a large deck, family room with 80 inch smart tv, and a beautiful outdoor fire pit to hang out on those cooler nights.

Each bedroom features hotel quality mattresses for a comfortable night's rest after your day in the Dunes. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the giant tub for two in the primary bath or an invigorating shower with luxurious rain showerheads in both bathrooms.

Bring the pups and let them run free through an acre of private woods, there's even a dog access door that you can open or close depending on your preference.

Bring your hiking boots: Miller Woods and Douglas Dunes- part of the nation’s newest national park- offer birding trails and specialty hikes in all seasons.

Hitting the trail is a great way to experience winter scenes at the Dunes. All trails are open for winter hiking except the Pinhook Bog Trail (the Upland Trail is open). The Paul H. Douglas Trail, Cowles Bog Trail, and West Beach Trails offer a variety of difficulty levels to experience winter hiking in the park. Experience a moonlight hike along the ridge of West Beach trail, one of over twenty nature trails traversing spectacular dunes and ethereal moonscapes.

Neighborhood highlights

Come and Visit Miller Beach, the secret little beach town where the Indiana Dunes National Park begins! Walk out onto five and a half miles of continuous public beaches, buffered by the gorgeous natural dunes that protect our shore.

Hundreds of lakefront beach parking spots available at public lots at Lake Street & Marquette Park, and also Wells Street Beach during their summer concession months. Indiana Dunes National Park's Miller Woods borders us on the west and West Beach borders us on the east. We are the eco-friendly, nature-filled neighborhood of Gary, Indiana at the southernmost point of Lake Michigan!

Creating special memories here is easy - we're the home to restaurants and bars such as 18th Street Brewery, Miller Pizza, Vibrations Juice Bar, Beach Cafe, The Flamingo, and Tequila and Tacos. Enjoy our one-of-a-kind boutiques, like Indie Indie Bang Bang, Adele's Beach Boutique and Miller School Shops, a collection of vintage and artist booths in one of our historic school buildings. No cookie cutter experiences here! Discover special finds that you'll treasure long after you return home.

Miller Beach Arts and Creative District hosts music events, artists talks, and gallery showings. Weekly open mics and comedy shows make for a great date night at D Performance Comedy. Live music is featured at many eateries during the summer especially on First Fridays. Relax at the beach and watch the sun set over the Chicago skyline.

Walk, bicycle, or roll on over 20 miles of trails that connect all of our special places: our historic downtown, including many paved trail miles that wind thru the Indiana Dunes, past Lake Michigan beaches, historic architecture, and connect to our downtown and the Miller South Shore Railroad Station. The National Park Services and their Paul H. Douglas Center, features events; you can even join a ranger-led hike or enjoy their exhibits.

I've been an airbnb guest for years (still am) and now I am also a host! As an airbnb aficionado and having stayed at SO many properties, I work very hard to make my homes beautiful, comfortable, peaceful and easy to stay at. As a host, I'm available 24/7 (much to my family's dismay) so that my guests want for nothing. I believe that it's the little things that make a stay exceptional. I have a passion for the beach, great restaurants, fun outdoor activities like hiking, boating and kayaking and of course, traveling!
