Charming Fisherman’s Cottage in Brixham Harbour

Stay in a beautiful fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Brixham, just moments from the vibrant harbour.

Perfectly located, you’re a short stroll from wonderful restaurants, cosy pubs, and bars—ideal for a relaxing coastal getaway.

The space
Our cottage is a comfortable quirky home from home full of character set over 3 floors.
Two double bedrooms both with double beds.
The top living space has a TV (Sky/Netflix).
Fantastic harbour views from the large velux window.
A double futon / sofa for extra guests.
Ground floor is a small living room, two seater sofa and TV with Sky/Netflix leading to the fully functional kitchen with washing machine, microwave, electric cooker. The bathroom with bath and shower is also on the ground floor.

Guest access
Guests have the use of the whole house set over 3 floors.

Other things to note
This is a very old fisherman’s cottage so does not come without its peculiarities so is not really suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or for toddlers due to the winding stairs.
We do not have any parking due to our location being in the harbour bowl.

Parking
Free parking is available further up the road around the hairpin bend around the park in Furzham road.
To park in Oxen cove or Freshwater car parks 5 mins walk (closer and easier to walk from than free parking) travel up the hill and take the right hand turn at the hairpin bend
It is best to park down the far end of the car park as close to Brixham harbour as possible.
From here take the flat path along the water front back towards Brixham harbour.
At Rockfish restaurant turn around towards the road and cross taking the short but steep steps up behind the wall.
At the top of the steps turn left into customs court where the cottage is on the right.
Torbay parking permits can be purchased online in advance from Torbay council webpage.
There is no outside space at the cottage, but it is only a short walk to the beach, harbour and high street.

Neighborhood highlights

Pebble Cottage Overgang is set in the heart of the harbour.
Walk down about 30 steps and you will be on the harbour front where you will find beautiful restaurants, cocktail bars and friendly pubs, and the replica of the Golden Hind.
Walk around by the marina you will find the Breakwater beach and open air seawater pool.
Carry on walking and you arrive at Berry Head and some stunning coastal walks and beautiful sunsets.
Brixham is also home to many seals and are quite often seen in and around the harbour. If you are very lucky you can see dolphins too.
