Enjoy your beach vacation in a quiet residential neighborhood in central Nags Head. This is a well-maintained beach "home away from home" - minutes from the ocean and sound. This 3 bedroom beach cottage is full of coastal charm and all the luxuries of home - a perfect spot for a family vacation and great for Fido, too, with a fenced-in backyard and even a doggy door. We are within walking distance of the trails of Nags Head Woods and a short 10 min walk, 5 min bike, or 2 min drive to the beach.

The space
This is a family beach house located in a wooded residential neighborhood on the west side of 158.

Guest access
You can access the entire house with the exception of the garage and the locked ground floor rooms and owner's closets.

The fireplace is NOT functional or for guest use.
The garage is not accessible to guests.

Other things to note
The minimum age to rent is 25. ABSOLUTELY no parties or overnight outside guests will be allowed. You will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund of any kind.

Please do not park in the yard or on the street. Parking is only allowed n the driveway.

This is a dog friendly rental. While we and our cleaners are as thorough as possible, If you have pet allergies this listing may not be suitable for you.

Dogs only - maximum of 2 dogs allowed. (We do not allow cats.) Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog. Dogs must be house-trained, friendly (in case we need to access the house), up to date on flea meds and shots, and well-socialized. Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated for extended periods of time. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. If you have a "shedding" type breed, clean-up also means hair within reason. Failure to do so or any damage from your dog will result in an additional fee.

Please note that this is a vacation rental and not a hotel. (We love and appreciate our guests and truly mean that in the absolute nicest way!) You will need to roll trash carts out for trash pickup, do your dishes, etc., and basically leave the house reasonably as you found it.

If you use the grill please clean it before departure for the next guests. Our cleaners do not clean grills. If you use the last of the propane in one of the tanks, please let us know or replace it.

If you break something please replace it or let us know ahead of time so that we can be proactive for the next guests. We know accidents happen - just help us out!

We provide one set of bath towels per expected guest. We do not provide beach towels.

We provide the first roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. Additional needs are the guests' responsibility.

We are your neighbors and live just a couple of miles away. We are super laid back but expect that you will respect our space and the rules.

Very quiet, wooded neighborhood of mostly year round residents. Access to Nags Head Woods and great walking in a rare maritime deciduous forest with trails to the sound just a few blocks one way and Barnes Street beach access a few blocks across 158 the other way.
