Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Our tiny house is uniquely located on a private airfield in the lush forests just outside of Olympic National Park. The location offers the rare opportunity for visitors to not only drive but also fly in for a peaceful stay.

The space
Cozy but also equipped with all of the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

The kitchen has a microwave, propane cooktop and oven, and full-size RV fridge/freezer. We’ve also stocked it with all of the utensils one would need to cook a meal. A heat pump keeps the house comfortable year-round. Starlink provides high speed internet. A comfortable full (double) size bed, featuring Tuft and Needle mattress and pillows and West Elm cotton sheets, nestles into one end of the house. A large window above the bed overlooks the forest. The TV is equipped with a Roku, allowing for a wide selection of streaming services.

The bathroom is equipped with a stand-up hot water shower and Separatt composting toilet. Please be aware that this toilet is not a typical flush toilet, but a Swedish designed waterless unit that allows for use in areas without a septic or sewer system.

Outside there is a deck and patio that overlook the yard and landscaping. A fire pit is provided on the patio, along with a propane heater.

Guest access
Guests enjoy a private stay as the tiny house is located on a separate parcel with a lawn and access to roads that traverse the property.

Other things to note
Maintenance: the tiny house is located at an active airfield, with occasional aircraft operations and maintenance machinery working on the property. We do make every effort to keep your stay peaceful.

For pilots: consider us a jumping off point for the Salish Sea area; the San Juans, Whidbey, Vancouver Island, Point Roberts. Jefferson County International Airport (0S9) is 5 nautical miles away if you need fuel or want lunch and some famous pie at the Spruce Goose Cafe. If you wish to fly in please contact us before you make your booking. We have tie downs next to the hangars. If you need a vehicle just let us know, we can assist in getting you a rental for extended stays or a crew rig if you just need to grab some supplies.
