All the amenities you need! Located in the immediate downtown area, walking distance to area shops, dining + local attractions + Wisconsin Automotive Museum. A short drive to "Insta-worthy" Holy Hill, Erin Hills, Pike Lake, Slinger Speedway, Lapham Peak and Little Switzerland.

The space
Located in the heart of this small Wisconsin city of Hartford and easy to find, this early 1900s built duplex home is filled with wall to wall charm. You will be staying in the first floor unit of this two family home. We have dubbed the first floor level of this home The Olde City Apartment. Visit the inside of this old house and you will be enchanted by it's special charisma and personality. From the original stained glass front door, cast iron porcelain "claw foot" bath tub, cast iron "farmhouse" kitchen sink to the original bronze and cast iron door hardware and porcelain door knobs.
Enjoy the numerous "old-fashioned" elements in this home adorned with olden style furniture.
Sit and relax in the parlor-style living room that we have dubbed "The Bicycle Room" A great conversation starter, the old bicycle overlooks the room and leaves you wondering, what sort of trips and journeys has the old bicycle been on?
The seasons are AMAZING in our area, and we are fortunate to be located so close to many hiking trails, along with two ski/snowboard/tubing establishments. Please venture over to our local Ice Age Trails, Pike Lake State Park hiking trails, or County Park trails.

We are also PERFECT for work travel! We have had people traveling for work tell us we have been a great fit for their needs while staying in the area for work. #AirBnbForWork.
We are also a great stay for families! A room for parents and a room for the kids with TWO beds! We are also a great mid-term stay for displaced or relocating families!


The inviting master bedroom features a cozy king size bed, a luggage rack and dressers and a closet for your clothing storage. The second bedroom features a queen and single bed, a luggage rack, a large dresser and closet. The living room can also be used for sleeping as it has a queen size sofa bed and a large HD TV. In unit NEW stacked laundry with supplies, full bathroom with toiletries, coffee and tea supplied as well as coffee pot, and full kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, crock pot, and many cooking utensils; making this a perfect extended stay (just bring groceries!) Patio and backyard located off kitchen, and patio furniture (seasonal) located on patio for your relaxation!

Ideal location for extended stay or business travel; WIFI ready with working space and desk in living room.


One dog will be welcome at a fee of $30 per stay, which will be prompted during booking. If you have additional dogs, please reach out to me.

We are available for extended stay and offer discounts for stays one month or longer (all utilities included). We welcome traveling nurses/ medical professionals/ business travelers.

We are in close proximity to Milwaukee and many other area attractions.

For the cross country skiing enthusiast; we are located within 20 minutes of the famous groomed trails of Lapham Peak State Park. The perfect environment for your Birkebeiner training!

This apartment is part of a duplex home. The apartment is the entire first floor with dedicated private entrance. Upstairs lives a full time tenant. You will hear occasional footsteps from the family living upstairs. Please help us respect their home as we have asked them to do the same for you.
We are within the city and within close proximity to an occasional train.
